While visiting Pienza we decided to have dinner in this place which we found right where we parked the car. Let's start from the location, it is located next to the bus parking lot, it has outdoor tables. Inside it has simple furnishings, with particplafk curtains made of chestnuts. The service was excellent, the owner who is also the chef, seeing perhaps the few people for the early time, advised us and took the order and you can see that he really loves his job. We ate a portion of Pici all'Aglione which I personally had never tasted and I found them truly delicious. A portion of ribollita cooked very well. A portion of Peposo with the meat that melted so soft and juicy, some cannellini beans with oil (the only thing that didn't drive me crazy. Finally, a portion of Pienza tart with jam and walnuts, delicious. All accompanied by sparkling water and a quarter of excellent house wine. The bill was €65. Perhaps the only flaw was precisely what stopped me at 4 stars since I found it slightly high, a little less. you might pay. However, I recommend it if you are around Pienza!

A highly appreciated experience from every point of view, starting from the restaurant which is truly welcoming, with the right trattoria atmosphere. For dinner we had two delicious soups, especially the lentil and bacon soup which I highly recommend. The owner of the place was very kind and welcoming, as well as very nice and finally the satisfaction was also great for the price, much more than honest. The location is also very convenient, just outside the historic center (7 minute walk) and with a car park in front.

Small typical tavern, very kind staff (one man show) in the sense that they do everything! 😜 The owner is really nice and cheers up the environment as well as explaining the dishes well! Pici with top wild boar and Florentine... well, you can judge from the photo 😜 We will be back!!!!

Trattoria con cibo di ottima qualità e ambiente super piacevole, dove mi sono sentita molto a mio agio! Ho preso il tagliere di salumi e formaggi, la zuppa di funghi e patate e i pici al ragù ed era tutto squisito, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Menú con molte specialità anche per celiaci.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale prenotando tramite The Fork. Abbiamo ordinato una porzione di bruschette con pecorino e miele da condividere, un piatto di pasta a testa e una bottiglia d’acqua per un totale di 40€, nonostante lo sconto del 20%. Purtroppo, la pasta era scotta e la mia porzione di pici al tartufo non aveva alcun sapore di tartufo. Anche il servizio ha lasciato a desiderare: mentre stavamo ancora finendo le bruschette, ci hanno tolto i piatti senza chiedere. Un’esperienza deludente nel complesso, soprattutto considerando il rapporto qualità-prezzo.
