How lovely to dine by the lake (Pusiano). A quaint trattoria with excellent lake fish dishes. The best... risotto with perch.

A Must, third generation, historic shop, for those who want to try a risotto with perch made as tradition teaches. Garden with tables on the lakeside, at sunset the view is a gift. Mixed lake with missoltini, carpione and salmon trout in green sauce complete the menu in an excellent way.... strong on lake fish, Maybe for carnivores other places in the area are better.

Lovely position on lago with quality food. Owner questioned our reservation when we arrived, was rude and basically said we would have to leave until we showed her proof of our reservation call on our phone. We were then positioned under a bird nest in the tree canopy so I was shat on five times during the dinner. I pointed this out to the owners and they asked if I would like a coffee. I said yes but then they charged me for it! Really all quite poor but out waitress was super impressive. She seemed to have far more tables to serve than the other waitresses, so credit to her.

Ancient restaurant. Tables inside (there is an old 'livable' fireplace) or on the terrace overlooking the lake. Perch with rice is the dish that made it famous. It is worth going there just for this. ......and much more.... PS. Someone writes that 'it needs modernization'. I do not agree at all. The air you breathe is exactly the same as decades ago. A dive into the past then. But not artfully constructed today. The real one.

12/07/2025: We spontaneously stopped in for two beers on a Friday afternoon. A lovely, alternative, beer-loving atmosphere. Almost 10 beers on tap and a hand pump. There's also a small shop with beers to take home. There's seating inside and outside (on the street and in the small square opposite). Free salty snacks are served with the beers. There's also the option to get something to eat, which we didn't take advantage of. Card payments accepted. Orders are made at the bar; there's no table service as such.
12/07/2025: A lovely beer bar in the center of Como. We only stopped for a beer, but overall, the overall experience is very positive. They have a good selection of beers on tap, with some very interesting options, all from craft breweries, including something niche like a lambic. I saw they have a wide selection of bottled beers. We'll definitely be back.
