In the heart of Catania, although a bit off the beaten path, there is a delicious place where everything tastes wonderful. A warm and nice gentleman with a smile tried very hard to make us feel at home. We will definitely come back here.

We used it several times. A small, family restaurant with an atmosphere. We were served by 3 generations;) Open "all day". A quiet alley just off the main street. The food was tasty, the service was very nice. Each time the customers were someone from the local community. I definitely recommend it if someone is looking for a real Sicilian restaurant :)

Lekker gegeten. Ik zag veel negatieve recensies maar die ervaring hebben wij niet. Ze hebben alleen geen Pizza maar Pinsa. Een dikke brood pizza. Ook lekker maar als je een klassieke pizza verwacht kan ik me voorstellen dat je enigszins teleurgesteld bent. De risotto is heerlijk. Gezellig zitten en hele lieve authentieke mensen.

By far the best dinning experience in Catania. The lovely ambient, amazing service and uncomparable food are all key elements that kept on driving in us into this place. The family running the palce make sure you feel welcomed and give you the true Italian experience. It feels like eating at the Nonas!

Repas ce midi, les spaghettis à la Vongole étaient bons, mais la pizza Margarita n’était pas très bonne. Rapport qualité prix très moyen.

30/05/2024: There is a wide choice of dishes, from fish to meat to pizza. Unfortunately the wait was too long. We had to wait almost an hour to order and an hour to eat. The service is slow and in my opinion, for the amount of people that the place can host, not too much. The food was quite good but could be improved. Prices are higher than the average of the restaurants you can try in Catania. We paid €43 per person for a second course and a glass of wine.
25/05/2024: The food is good, but the service is worth it when there is a crowd. The most important thing to know, if you are ever forced to go there, is that you absolutely must not forget your wallet because on the way out they either hold you hostage (and it is not clear how the problem can be solved) or, if you are with an important person for you, they will ask you to go and get the money, leaving the latter as a hostage.......even if it were to be Donna. I don't have adjectives to define behaviors of this type so I'll leave it to your wild imagination.
