Old-fashioned trattoria with excellent traditional dishes. I'll be back to try other dishes again.

A friendly post-theater dinner. A traditional trattoria that brings back memories of childhood cooking. Homemade food and tasty but not heavy sauces. A few dishes, perfectly cooked with full respect for tradition! We'll be back, highly recommended!

We had dinner at Meloncello last night before going to the theater. First of all, we were greeted very warmly. The staff was all very kind, efficient, and FAST! We ate typical Bolognese dishes (meatballs, stew, friggione, and mashed potatoes), finishing with two desserts and coffee. The inevitable house Lambrusco rounded off a delicious dinner. Highly recommended.

On Sunday, January 4th, I returned to Meloncello, a historic restaurant serving traditional Bolognese cuisine, and the experience was simply perfect. We chose a trio of first courses: their handmade tagliatelle are an institution, accompanied by gramigna and tortelloni, all excellent. For the second course, a truly excellent roast veal with mashed potatoes, and to finish, a delicious crème caramel. For the second of two sittings, the place was packed, with countless people queuing, a clear sign of how much this restaurant is loved. Special praise goes to the service, always kind and professional, and especially to the lady who runs the restaurant: extremely courteous, friendly, and approachable, capable of making you feel immediately at home. An absolute confirmation, recommended without hesitation.

Well begun... My partner and I had lunch on January 1st. It's a historic trattoria serving traditional Bolognese dishes (the ones from days gone by). The staff is friendly, cheerful, and very attentive. We ate truly well: a cured meats and cheese appetizer, a plate of ricotta tortelloni with ragù, and a plate of gramigna pasta with sausage ragù, both amazing, and topped off with an absolutely delicious crème caramel. The final bill, including water and wine, was very reasonable, exceeding all expectations for the quality and generous portions. We will definitely be back to visit Ornella and the entire staff.

The ragù is delicious, and the gluten-free pasta is also very good!

The hostess managed to find us a place for lunch on New Year's Day. She was excellent and very kind, as were all her staff. They were all very kind and professional. Beautiful and knowledgeable, the service was quick and perfect. Excellent traditional food! Nothing to complain about. Special mention for the tortellini in broth!

Everything was exceptional. We were welcomed without a reservation. The owner and all the staff were very kind. This trattoria serves typical Bolognese dishes. Highly recommended.

Everything was great. We waited a bit for one of the two dishes, but everything else was excellent. I give the ragù a 5-star rating, especially for the ragù. It was truly SUPERB!
