The best tagliatelle ragu I had in my one week in Bologna! (And that’s saying something, I ate it almost every day 😅) Came in at lunch on a Monday and there was lots of space. Great for after seeing San Luca!

June 2025 I stopped at this restaurant after visiting San Luca, a little hungry, we had lunch in four typical Bolognese cuisine, very good courses, first courses, second courses and side dishes, only doubt the friggione that did not seem to me to be Bolognese, there was an anomalous ingredient but still good. Nice environment where you can breathe the air of a Bologna unfortunately forgotten.

We had a wonderful time at Trattoria Meloncello. Definitely the best ragu in Bologna! The staff were kind and helpful, despite our poor Italian. We cannot wait to return one day!

Exceptional They welcomed us even though we were a large group (25 people) and treated us very well, laughing and joking in company. The food was sublime, we let them advise us and I must say it was a great idea. Generous and filthy portions of local specialties such as tagliatelle al ragù… I still dream about them Normal prices We had a really good time, we will definitely return when we are in the area

Locale molto accogliente lungo una via principale, ma appena fuori dal centro storico. Ambiente accogliente dal sapore e colore di un tempo con personale molto gentile e professionale. Piatti tipici della tradizione preparati con cura e con ingredienti di qualità. Ottima l'offerta del senza glutine dagli antipasti ai dolci. Prezzi leggermente alti, ma in linea con la media dei locali del luogo. Personalmente ho gradito lo spezzatino e il tagliere iniziale. Raccomandato.

Che dire ci siamo presentati alle 14.30 senza prenotazione (di ritorno da San Luca)…abbiamo chiesto un tavolo x 4…stavano per chiudere ma sono stati carinissimi…hanno preparato un tavolo in due minuti e in dieci stavamo mangiando. Piatti della tradizione con ottimi ingredienti. Personale gentile, prezzi in media.

07/08/2025: Highly recommended... pure tradition.
23/06/2025: Pasta rolled by hand with a rolling pin from Morena. And you can never go wrong with the first courses!! The meat is excellent, and on request, they will also prepare fish for you, which arrives fresh and cooked very well. When I want to eat well, I always go to Morena.

17/08/2025: Typical Bolognese trattoria! Excellent fried gnocco... shame about the mosquitoes in the outdoor area where the tables were set up.
