Trattoria Mamma mia in Gravina di Puglia, tradition, creativity and extraordinary panoramic view, the pillars of this authentic Apulian VIP restaurant

The staff were very friendly, they let us sit even though they were about to close the kitchen. The place is a bit dated, probably its strong point is the view but unfortunately it was evening and it was foggy so we didn't benefit from it. I must say that the strong point was the honesty of the bill: we took typical cheese, chicory with broad bean puree, spaghetti with clams, mixed roast, water and house wine, total: €24 each. The broad bean cream with chicory was excellent, the spaghetti was good even if a little too soaked in oil, the mixed grill was so and so: not very plentiful and they "hid" some dried up chips under the meat to make it bigger, the cooking wasn't bad even if we don't have a refined palate. Overall I recommend it also because they were very kind.

Quality local food with typical local dishes. Generous portions and fast service. Very friendly and helpful staff! And finally a beautiful view of the ravine from the windows of the room

curiosando tra i vicoli abbiamo visto questa trattoria, il ristorante si presenta benissimo e la vista dalle vetrate sulle antiche gravine/sassi è spettacolare,abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione Terra e mare,mangiato con gusto e a sazietà,il tutto accompagnato da un buon Malvasia. Gli ultimi piatti non siamo riusciti a mangiarli e dalla cucina ci hanno confezionato il tutto,compreso doci e frutta . Non immaginavamo così tante portate. Il prezzo è buono considerato il tutto. Il personale discreto e molto cortese.

Old Italy. Walk through Piazza di Ecclesia to find this gem Gravina I'm Puglia is very walkable and from Giardini di Gravina a 15 minute walk. Not for the infirm.

The place is spectacular and the food is great, I can't wait to return.

Une bouillabaisse mémorable uniquement servie sur réservation. Un accueil avec le sourire et beaucoup d'efforts pour parler le français. Juste derrière la cathédrale. N'hésitez pas ce n'est pas une tratoria mais un un bon restaurant
