February 2026. Intimate and welcoming restaurant. The à la carte menu offers limited first course selections, but they did offer a daily menu featuring unique first courses, all of which were very good. I'll be back during the summer.

Nice, intimate atmosphere, small and very familiar, like home cooking. Good service. From a place like this, with a limited menu, you'd expect better value.

Trattoria Mafalda is a special place. Small but warm and welcoming, but above all, familiar... it feels like you're in your own living room while food is being prepared in the kitchen. It's nestled in a magical place... on the slopes of Monte Conero. It takes its name from the famous comic book character, and everything inside the restaurant speaks of her. Pino, the good host, is the go-to figure... he welcomes you, offers advice, explains the dishes, and puts you at ease, making the occasion special. The food, in my opinion, is excellent and made with fresh, local ingredients. Not going is like missing out on a high-quality culinary experience. I'll try to go in the summer because I imagine dining on the terrace with the sunset before you will be an unforgettable experience.

Totally disappointed!! A very sad Christmas lunch! It seemed like any other day. There was nothing Christmassy about it: the festively decorated table, yellow placemats, and sad glasses, not even a decorated tree. The menu was decent but served cold. The salad with the roast was nothing, just chopped boiled vegetables. The desserts were cut into tiny pieces, all broken, and no bottle of sparkling wine!! I'll stop here!! I don't recommend it.

A lovely trattoria in the Porto-Novo area: very welcoming. The menu offers both meat and fish (I had fish and was very happy with it). A local favorite.

Family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food. Prices are reasonable. The staff is professional and very friendly. We will definitely be back.
