Very friendly staff, good food but nothing memorable

There were 4 of us last night and we were immediately welcomed and entertained for a few minutes at the entrance because they were preparing our table. While waiting we were offered a truly pleasant prosecco uncorked in our presence. Punctual explanation of the many Piedmontese wines on display and then at the table. We ordered both traditional menus and also à la carte. Professionally advised on the wine to match. All the staff were prepared to explain the dishes presented even following our questions.... They were never invasive, on the contrary their empathy was intelligent. The food was excellent... Only the cooking of the dish with one of the pork elements could have been cooked a little more... Really reasonable final bill... Well done everyone

Ho trovato questa trattoria per caso, girovagando nel quartiere Cit Turin e ho deciso di provarla. Ambiente accogliente, curato con semplicità nello stile delle trattorie piemontesi che, a mio avviso, conservano un tocco di classe anche nelle versioni più popolari. Ho mangiato un buonissimo stinco di fassona al vino bianco servito in umido, con un contorno di verdure. La carne si scioglieva in bocca e le verdure hanno accompagnato perfettamente il piatto essendo saporite ma non 'invasive' nel sapore. Mi sono concesso anche un dolce di ricotta di Seirass ripieno di amarene da volare via...squisito. Con mezzo litro di nebbiolo della casa (per me buono, ma sono emiliano quindi se chi legge è piemontese prenda questa valutazione con le molle) ho pagato 38,5€, cifra più che giusta. Menzione speciale per Pasquale (credo si chiami così), cameriere simpaticissimo. Dovessi tornare a Torino ci tornerò sicuramente!
