"Five stars aren't enough, a pure culinary experience! L'Oca Bianca in Salsomaggiore confirms its excellence as an absolute gem. Its strong point is the incredible quality of its ingredients, selected with such care that you can taste them in every bite. Calling it a 'trattoria' would be a definite understatement given the exceptional quality of its cuisine, were it not for the price, which is absolutely fair for such quality. The baked goose leg was a true masterpiece: incredibly tender meat and unforgettable flavor. We finished on a high note with a sbrisolona cake accompanied by a fantastic zabaglione cream and excellent coffee. A warm welcome and professionalism: a high-end establishment that maintains the authentic soul of the area. A must-see!

This morning we visited a nearby castle and wanted to have lunch there, but we discovered that dogs were not welcome there, so we moved on and found this wonderful trattoria, 5 km away. We ate very well, everything was good and tasty. Besides being friendly, they were also super fast. Prices were reasonable.

Excellent place, perfect atmosphere, even for couples, very relaxing, super delicious food, very good wines of various prices and types, very attentive and attentive staff. I had dinner this evening. A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere, food, and service were truly incredible. A wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone. Their design concept, even on the serving plates, is beautiful. The egg tagliolini with leeks and culatello was EXCEPTIONAL. The rosemary guinea fowl was AMAZING. The pavlova with an UNFORGETTABLE meringue. The service was SUPER FRIENDLY. I'll be back.

Although a little high-end for my standards, it's definitely a place where you can eat well in a refined setting with attentive service. It also has ample parking. I've visited several times. I'm satisfied with the quality and service.

09/11/2025: We were here for lunch today at Trovatore. We organized a trip to Parma and contacted this restaurant. The menu was €30.00, including mixed cold cuts, an omelette, two first courses, water, and a sbrisolona. The portions were truly ridiculous: 5 ravioli per person and 4 small bowls of gnocchi for a table of 26 people. Dessert was served on three shared plates with a couple of bowls of mascarpone cream. Obviously, it wasn't enough for the whole table. But unfortunately, it was all gone. There wasn't any left... ridiculous... we told the owner, who pretended to apologize... but by then he'd pocketed the money and didn't even bother to offer us a coffee... disappointing. It's obvious we won't be returning, and above all, we won't speak highly of the place. I'm sorry because he lost out on a few more portions... shame.
