We visited this trattoria with good friends on a weekend trip to Bolzano.
We received friendly service, and the pizzas we ordered were excellent. Unfortunately, the entrance isn't easy to find (there are market stalls in front of the restaurant).
Definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant was recommended by acquaintances, and after browsing their website, we booked a table six weeks in advance.
We arrived full of excitement and anticipation.
What a disappointment.
The restaurant is divided into several areas, well-kept and clean.
The welcome was courteous and professional.
We were brought the menus, the special menu, and the wine list.
We expected variety, but there wasn't; the only goose-based dish was the cured meat. Not only that, but the menu wasn't clear; we emphasized that it was our first time there, so the dishes needed to be presented, given the lack of information on the menu itself. If we hadn't asked the waitress for clarification, we wouldn't have known that they served baked polenta with the assorted cured meats. I wanted the goose breast with arugula and balsamic vinegar, but I was told there was a mixed cured meat platter. Frankly, the first courses didn't pique our interest, so we both ordered the roast duck from the special menu. Still Gutturnio wine.
A charcuterie board arrived with literally two slices of salami, three small pieces of polenta (for two), goose prosciutto, and goose mortadella. On a separate plate, three slices of goose breast with arugula and balsamic vinegar. A platter for two. When we actually wanted to order two appetizers, oh well. Never mind. Then the roast duck, good, with a small amount of potatoes. For dessert, a salted caramel chocolate mousse, excellent, and a slice of amaretti tart. At the end of the meal, a nocino liqueur, offered with the bill.
I can't say I had a bad meal, but the person who ordered, having been informed that it was our first time, should have presented the dishes and understood from our questions that we were there to eat goose, which is only included in the charcuterie board.
Perhaps a website update would be in order.

Magnificent atmosphere for an unexpected dinner. Let yourself be amazed by the goose specialties, the cured meats with fried pie are really excellent.

TRY to BELIEVE!
My husband and I (we are from Turin) went to this splendid restaurant last night and found a welcoming environment, very kind and friendly staff and food with excellent raw materials.
A vast selection of wines that go very well with their menu!
Average prices considering the raw materials, we will definitely be back... thanks for the wonderful culinary experience!

Trattoria nelle immediate vicinanze di Salsomaggiore sulla strada che porta al castello di Vigoleno. Ampio e comodo parcheggio. Locale spazioso e ben arredato posto su tre piani. A noi è stata destinata una saletta isolata tranquilla, riscaldata dal camino a legna, al piano inferiore. Personale molto cortese e professionale. Tutti i piatti, (antipasti, primi e secondi) fanno riferimento all’oca e sono ben cucinati e ben presentati. Ampia lista vini che, stranamente, privilegia i vini francesi. Prezzi in linea con la qualità.
Unico neo: tra i dessert, spacciati come di produzione propria, i gelati sicuramente di origine industriale e non all’altezza della qualità degli altri piatti.

Immerso nella natura, la trattoria L’oca Bianca propone piatti tipici parmigiani e specialità d’oca ( tra cui affettati d’oca,ragù e secondi)
Ambiente curato, personale attento e disponibile, perfetto per una serata rilassante tra amici, cena di coppia o un pranzo di famiglia.
