The place is small, minimalist, but tidy and clean. Service depends entirely on the number of customers. Regarding the quality of the food, unfortunately, my second experience was very different from the previous one.
The prices are good, true, but they reflect what's served.
Both the first and second courses are marked by the almost complete use of frozen products, and of average quality at that.
The first courses are edible, the second courses are basically okay, and the desserts are unimaginable.
Sure, it's fine for a quick lunch on a weekday, but it doesn't stand out from other establishments that offer fixed-price menus, perhaps with just one fish dish.
This trattoria is inexplicably recommended by a multitude of advisors.

I discovered this fantastic seafood restaurant by chance four years ago, and whenever I'm nearby, I take advantage of it for a fantastic meal of fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. I've tried every dish and can only praise the quality and abundance of the dishes. I travel all over Italy, and not just for work, and I can assure you that Lo Monte is among the ten best restaurants I've ever found. Of course, always considering the quality/price ratio. Don't miss it. I say this with good reason. Aldo
