Excellent atmosphere with a panoramic veranda. Interesting food options, especially the tasting menu.

This traditional trattoria is located in Barbiano, nestled in the hills of Felino, completely immersed in the greenery of this beautiful town in the province of Parma. This place is well-known for its natural beauty, but above all for its culinary tradition. In fact, only local dishes, authentic Parmesan cuisine, have always been served here. Among the dishes they offer are: stuffed punta with potatoes and sweet smoked carpaccio, tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, potato agnolotti with black truffles, and tortelli with herbs or pumpkin. But there are many other delicious first courses, excellent second courses featuring good local meats, and fresh homemade desserts, along with good wines and excellent cured meats. I'd say coming up here is the perfect choice for a good Saturday.

Fantastic food (even gluten-free), friendly staff and wonderful view

It would be almost superfluous to write a review for a restaurant with such a long tradition. I'm writing this to confirm that the food and service are excellent. They haven't rested on their laurels; on the contrary, you can see that they're constantly striving and committing to providing the best. Everything is simply perfect, even the bill.

A restaurant that speaks for itself: we ate wonderfully, in a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. But the real highlight of the evening was Fabio, the waiter who looked after us with rare care and kindness. A wonderful person who made the dinner a special memory. I recommend asking for him!

I've been working here for almost two years and have often come to this restaurant. I can say it was my favorite in the area, both for the food and the service, so much so that I've been there with all my colleagues who have passed by. Unfortunately, last night I was very disappointed... I brought two other colleagues who had never been there before to celebrate one of their birthdays. We ordered three tartares, which everyone thought were cold and tasteless... unfortunately, none of us liked them. But that's not the problem, because it can happen; we just pointed it out for the sake of fairness because two were left on our plates. What left us stunned was the owner's reaction, who showed up at the table in a huff and without asking what had happened, stated his disagreement in a somewhat hushed tone, leaving no room for a response. The tartares were taken off the bill. I appreciate your kindness, but I would have preferred a different reaction from such a distinguished person. I was very sorry, too bad...

Siamo stati a pranzo per il nostro anniversario insieme agli amici . La trattoria ha una terrazza fantastica , con un bel panorama , probabilmente migliore al tramonto ( quindi per cena) .il menù è strepitoso , e c'è un'ottima scelta anche senza glutine ( cosa non scontata) Sono stata benissimo quindi nessuna contaminazione! Camerieri gentilissimi e spesa assolutamente in linea con le nostre scelte.

A cena su consiglio di un professionista gastronomo del posto. Aspettative alte, tutte pienamente (e oltre) rispettate. Servizio cortese, attento, non invadente. Cucina con un gran equilibrio dei sapori. Carta dei vini ben fornita, varia e anche internazionale, e bicchieri finalmente corretti per le tipologie scelte. Location top. Bravi!
