We'd heard about this trattoria and were really curious to try it. First, I wanted to praise the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff. They were truly kind in their welcome (with three small children and a bulky stroller) and knowledgeable in explaining the various dishes. Moving on to the dishes, we were pleasantly surprised by the combinations and the quality offered. Raw ingredients crafted by a Chef with a capital C. The homemade gelato was also excellent. The price might certainly be a bit high, but honestly, you pay for quality. The atmosphere was comfortable, typically Tuscan. Thank you, and see you next time.

We were here on October 6, 2025. All the dishes were excellent, with great presentation. The ambiance was lovely, with very good and attentive service. We would come back.

My friend Anna and I finished the stretch of the Via Francigena from Lucca to Radicofani with a bang. We ate wonderfully, top-quality food with very tasty and original dishes, such as the three gelato appetizer, a delight for the palate. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable, providing us with much-needed information about the dishes and the ingredients used. The price was more than reasonable for the high quality and deliciousness of the food. Highly recommended.

Mimmo and Sonia were so hospitable and nice, not to mention accomodating. And the food was soooo good! Can't recommend it enough!

A restaurant with excellent food, Michelin would give it several stars. The service is attentive and friendly.

We ate exceptionally well! Every dish was an experience! Traditional cuisine with creative touches that are rarely found. My vegetarian friend had fantastic vegetable pici. The gelato is also highly recommended! 🙂

Consiglio vivamente di provare la Trattoria "Le Ginestre" da Mimmo se siete amanti della cucina toscana. Abbiamo deciso di prenotare per il pranzo di pasqua e non potevamo fare scelta migliore, siamo stati accolti dal personale di sala in modo super cordiale,facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio in un ambiente ben curato e arredato con gusto. I piatti di prima scelta, dagli antipasti ai primi /secondi per finire con il gelato artigianale preparato dallo chef in modo superlativo . Consiglio sicuramente la faraona ripiena e il filetto di maiale con cipolla rossa caramellata, davvero una delizia! Ma non sono da meno neppure i primi piatti tutti rigorosamente preparati con pasta fresca ( sopratutto i maltagliati )e condimenti vari ( ragù rosso, cinghiale, ragù bianco, cacio e pepe e altri particolari ) Spero di poter tornare presto in questa trattoria e provare altri piatti deliziosi. Già sto pensando a cosa ordinare la prossima volta! In sintesi, la Trattoria "Le Ginestre" da Mimmo è un posto dove andare per vivere un'esperienza culinaria autentica. Ah dimenticavo , rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo!
