Never in my life have I had bread so delicious as this omg. 10 pieces of bread and accidentally ate it all smothered in olive oil! I ordered the scampi pasta and again never in my life have I had such flavourful scampi pasta. Food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. I'll never go back to Prato lol, but if I did I would immediately come back here!

Our lunch at Trattoria Lapo was truly a wonderful experience. The restaurant is bright and spacious, and the welcome was warm and welcoming. All the food was delicious, and those who tried the balsamic ribs found them superb. Our waitress was very kind and friendly, making us feel at ease. To all of you who put love and heart into your work, I'd like to share a biblical proverb: "Have you seen a man skilled in his work? He will be seen before kings, not common men" (Proverbs 22:29). This means that people who work diligently like you not only stand out, but earn the respect and trust of all kinds of people. Thank you for sharing a moment we will remember with fondness.

A historic trattoria, located under the loggia of Piazza Mercatale since 1930. Large dining rooms inside and plenty of outdoor tables. A huge selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts, and wines, especially Tuscan. Affordable prices and very friendly and fast service.

12/12/2025: A friend of mine and I ate at this restaurant. The food was truly fresh and good. The most appreciated quality was the hospitality and kindness of the staff, especially the waitress who served us. They make you feel at home. Highly recommended.
