31/08/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant some time ago after finding it while browsing online 🧑🏻💻. It is accessed through a small door 🚪 that leads to the lower floor, where the actual restaurant is located. Osteria del Teatro 🎭, in fact, presents itself as a delightful little cellar, completely renovated with taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere is intimate and very welcoming. The staff 🧑🏻👩🏻 are all very young (a nice thing), extremely polite and professional. As soon as we arrived, we were kindly greeted by the owner 🧔🏻 who showed us to a seat. Shortly thereafter, one of the waiters showed up at our table and asked if we would like an aperitif 🍸 before lunch (we declined as we are not used to drinking on an empty stomach, but we greatly appreciated this gesture of courtesy and welcome). We opted for a platter of pancetta 🥓, coppa, and squacquerone, a portion of Angus carpaccio, and a plate of Francescane with truffle and Taleggio 🧀. Everything was truly delicious 😋, but beyond that, what struck me was the full-bodied flavors, a clear sign of the quality and freshness of the ingredients used 👌. Good value for money (45 euros 💶 in total, including cover charge 🍽, water 💧, and two coffees ☕). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍, because I believe treating yourself to a good lunch in a quality establishment is always a satisfying experience.

23/08/2025: A very unique atmosphere, underground, with old brick walls and a large wooden bookcase housing wines and other items, a truly special place. It's a shame about the strong, musty smell, which also affects the tasting experience; I hope it was due to an unlucky day. The cacio e pepe was good, but not special; I expected better from the service and ambience.
