We stumbled upon it by chance while walking around Ortigia. My son was craving seafood but didn't want to go to touristy places. We took a risk, and it was a good idea. The place isn't particularly "high-profile," it's quiet, charming, and you can tell it's a family-run business. The linguine with Mazzara red prawns and burrata was excellent.

Tasty, plentiful, and well-combined dishes. You can taste the sea on the plate. I recommend the sea bass, of course, but everything is good.

If you like fish and seafood, look no further than Syracuse. The food is incredibly good and authentic, simply amazing!… and the prices are reasonable, as there aren't many tourists here ;-)

My husband and I were there at the end of June... we had 2 appetizers (1 of mussels and 1 of burrata with red shrimp) and 2 second courses (1 Mediterranean sea bass and 1 Siracusan style)
Everything was perfect... dishes were very well prepared and above all good.
Sicilian wine on the advice of the owner (very kind and knowledgeable) who also offered us an excellent sorbet.
there are tables outside or inside we opted for the inside with air conditioning given the heat
Perfect evening...we recommend it.

In posizione strategica, a pochi passi dal ponte che conduce in Ortigia, questo locale si rivela schietto, casalingo, autentico e tradizionale. Poco turistico anche se, inevitabilmente, i turisti ci arrivano e si mescolano con piacere alla numerosa clientela locale. Il menu è ampio, i prezzi sono nella norma, anzi considerata la media dei locali della zona li definirei accettabili. Io provo un’ottima e abbondante pasta con le sarde e un’insalata mista. Con acqua, pane e una gradevole apparecchiatura spendo sui 25 euro. Ambientazione marinara, servizio gentile e ‘rallentato’.

Pranzo domenicale, in centro, a qualche minuto da Ortigia. Ormai un paio di volte l’anno veniamo.
Menù ampio con tantissima scelta.
Antipasto con patate e primo con linguine bronte.
