Delicious food and pleasant environment, service a little strangled because there are few of them and there are many customers. We were on the way to Balcone, another location and we stopped in the hope of drinking in a café. Upon entering the inn the scent of GOOD food enveloped us and upon seeing the menu with very different dishes than usual in the area we decided to have an aperitif and have lunch.
Very quiet and familiar location, food of excellent quality and price, dishes different from those offered by other restaurants and plentiful.

Trattoria in the historic center of Ovada. Very nice environment, excellent typical dishes of Ligurian-Piedmontese cuisine, wonderful staff, excellent value for money. If we really want to find a flaw, having the kitchen open to view (which is also very clean) the smell of the food remains on your clothes.

Found, by chance, a very informal trattoria, but from the flavors of the food to the service, everything was decidedly very good. To be redone, as soon as possible.

We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday, without a reservation (absolutely recommended, given that it was full at 1pm). The waitress told us we would wait half an hour and so we did. It is a small trattoria in the heart of Ovada: a slightly rustic place, few dishes but well prepared. I tried the trofie di Casal pesto and I tasted the tagliolini al touch (local meat sauce) which was also good. Speedy service. Excellent value for money. I'll have to go back to try the tripe! Today for lunch, 6 of us ate at the Pignatta in Ovada... a very welcoming typical restaurant... excellent dishes (we tried many) and an excellent dessert served by a knowledgeable and friendly innkeeper (also a Sampdorian like us)... reasonable prices....we will return with joy and next time in the room

Semplice ma ottimo ristorante con servizio spartano ma gentile. Piatti di ottimo gusto e prezzi decisamente onesti ,da venirci spesso in compagnia senza doversi svenare. Cibo tradizionale cucinato bene,nota di merito il coperto e l'acqua sono gratis. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
