Outstanding food. Best "matricciana" I've ever have in my life. Must try the house olive oil - superb. Very nice wine list. The house wine is a great deal, but you can choose between a great variety of italian wines. Great staff. A place to come back and enjoy over and over.

1. It was the best truffle-topped carbonara I've ever had. 2. The tomato bruschetta dessert and house wine were both excellent. 3. We barely managed to get a seat when it opened without a reservation, but it seems like it's basically impossible to get a reservation on weekends.

I returned after a year because I had a great experience, and it didn't disappoint. Whenever I'm in the area for work, I have to dine here at least once. The food is really good, the staff is friendly, and the wine is really good. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

We spent an evening enjoying good food and a welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the long-standing family management. I highly recommend Osteria La Palomba to anyone visiting Orvieto. Book in advance; it's always in high demand, and it's not hard to see why!

Simply the best. Local wine was soooo good. Pasta with truffles was also delicious!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Reservations are recommended, but we didn't have to wait too long. We were seated outside, which was charming. The food was very flavorful. The plate was generously garnished with truffles to round it off. Highly recommended.

Présent dans de nombreux guides dont michelin, c est incontestablement un excellent restaurant. C est bon, bien prepare avec des plats typiques en particulier ceux à la truffe et tout cela pour une tarification très raisonnable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, c est de loin ce que j ai trouve de mieux ici.

Durante su estancia en un agroturismo a las afueras de Orvieto, nuestro anfitrión recomendó este restaurante por su auténtica cocina umbría y excepcional selección de vinos. También apareció en mi guía de Lonely Planet. Aunque no hicimos una reserva, nos aseguramos de llegar a las 12 : 30 para el almuerzo. Afortunadamente, todavía había algunas mesas disponibles, y disfrutamos de una comida fantástica con un servicio rápido y atento. La carbonara con tartufo y paloma fueron excepcionales, complementados perfectamente con el vino, incluyendo un excelente Orvieto Classico. Me dijeron que este es el restaurante más antiguo de Orvieto, con paloma que ya aparece en el menú en la época etrusca. Es un privilegio ser parte de una historia tan rica, ¡que continúe por generaciones!
