When in Orvieto this is a must reserve. We visit the city 2-3 times a year and La Palomba is always on our reservation list. Great traditional food. Friendly staff and a guaranteed good quality meals. If you don’t reserve it will likely be full!

We came specially from Rome to this restaurant to look for the best pasta carbonara.
I can officially tell you this is the best pasta carbonara I ate.
We also had the beef fillet and it was just mind blowing.
I can’t recommend any more on this place, it just so good I wanna live in their kitchen

I have been to this typical Umbrian trattoria several times, also recommended by “Osterie d’Italia Slow Food”. Excellent quality food at a very low price, well-served and also abundant dishes. The staff is always attentive and very kind. The desserts are homemade, they could be improved but this is just a detail. I recommend booking well in advance because it is always full.

In primis la cortesia e la gentilezza di tutto il personale. Poi salumi deliziosi e tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale davvero molto molto buone! Ragù vero e ignorante nel senso positivo! Ritorneremo al 100%

It wad almost impossible to make a reservation-my italian friend called them like 3 times, but we got it and it was full. Very loud, family friendly, still a lot of americans.

An unmissable culinary stop when you come to Orvieto. In fact we come to Orvieto just to eat at their place! Everything was excellent and the service was extremely kind and always impeccable. Super recommended

A unique experience... Very quiet environment and indescribable food, we tasted the house starter, pappardelle with wild boar, strips of wild boar with dogfish and grilled sausages with chicory and a dessert... 5 stars are not enough! Highly recommended

Consigliati dai proprietari una piccola cantina nel centro di Orvieto, siamo andati diretti, senza esitazioni, convinti che ci saremmo trovati bene. E così è stato. Il personale di una gentilezza infinita, e gli umbrichelli che dire….?
