Exceptional meal in the heart of Orvieto!
You can see why this restaurant has been Michelin-rated every year since 2017. The service is exceptional, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively and authentic.
We had the salsiccia e pane to start, along with an antipasto misto. We were surprised to see that the sausage was served raw, but we were adventurous and dove right in. It was excellent!
The "Don Marcello" pasta was absolutely delicious, as was the cingiale (stewed chunks of perfectly cooked wild boar).
The pana cotta was also excellent, the perfect finish to a superb meal.
Highly recommended for an excellent meal at a reasonable price!

Very elegant restaurant, excellent service. We had truffle bruschetta and truffle umbrichelli, both very good. The pigeon alla leccarda was definitely exceptional, and the wine they recommended paired perfectly with our order. We'll be back and will definitely recommend it.

Excellent for sampling traditional Umbrian dishes. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The umbricelli all'arrabbiata (fried pasta with sage and basil), the crostini with freshly grated summer truffle on toasted bread, and the chickpea soup are a must-try!
Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

Nice experience at la Palomba, what we understood is quite the institution in the city, particularly for those who want to try pigeon. In fact my husband tried the pigeon with a tasty olive paste that was perfectly paired. The pasta with truffle was excellent as well. Friendly service. Reservation recommended, we were lucky to get one last table inside for the evening.

I book well in advance every time I pass through Orvieto. A very welcoming place, where Umbrian cuisine always evokes ancient flavors.

Excellent atmosphere, staff, and dishes. The fillet was perfectly cooked, tasty, and the ingredients were excellent. Umbriachelli with a spectacular sauce—scarpetta is a must! 😄 The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always available. The receptionist was brilliant at managing everything. Kudos to the entire staff, including the culinary artists in the kitchen who know not only how to cook, but how to treat the ingredients with respect.

In primis la cortesia e la gentilezza di tutto il personale. Poi salumi deliziosi e tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale davvero molto molto buone! Ragù vero e ignorante nel senso positivo! Ritorneremo al 100%

Consigliati dai proprietari una piccola cantina nel centro di Orvieto, siamo andati diretti, senza esitazioni, convinti che ci saremmo trovati bene. E così è stato. Il personale di una gentilezza infinita, e gli umbrichelli che dire….?
