Too expensive for what it is, with average quality. Spaghetti with lobster and seafood wasn't great, and too much olive oil. The bread was cold, like it came straight from the refrigerator. Be careful with the daily special! Ask for details.

Highly recommended - there are a lot of well known restaurants nearby and La Madia is just as good and could maybe be missed. We ate here twice and got a great meal both times - the service is excellent - front of house staff are really friendly and kind!

What can I say...a truly delicious, quality dinner!! Very fast service and, above all, incredibly kindness from all the staff... I was pleasantly surprised; I hadn't eaten like this in a long time. We had a menu for two that included a first and second course...very good!!!

Disfrutamos de deliciosa pasta y platos de lubina en esta trattoria. Cuenta con un ambiente cómodo y relajado con un servicio atento y servicial. Los servidores estaban encantados de ofrecer sugerencias de alimentos basados en lo que era fresco u ofrecido como un especial. Disfrutamos tanto de nuestras comidas que volvimos de nuevo.

Experiência gastronômica maravilhosaaaaaaaa...meu primeiro jantar na Itália destas férias. Pertinho do hotel onde nos hospedamos, passamos procurando por um restaurante tradicional em meios a dezenas por perto. O cardápio chamou muito a atenção pela variedade e preços justos. Entramos e tudo foi muito agradável, o atendimento e a dona que é extremamente simpática e comunicativa, clientes de várias partes do mundo e ela sempre dá um jeitinho de se comunicar de forma muito agradável. Tudo que ela sugere dá vontade de provar, incrível!! Optamos pela sugestão dada como entrada, uma salada de Polvo...que delíciaaaa!! Depois eu pedi um Ossobuco e meu marido um Carre de Cordeiro, vinho branco para entrada e tinto da casa, um perfeito sangiovese para os pratos principais, e como sobremesa pedimos Profiteroles...tudo divinamente delicioso, sem falar no ambiente super bem decorado!! Amamos e certo que iremos retornar antes de sair de Florença!

22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

The service and cleanliness are impeccable. The people who work there are absolutely excellent, from the waiters to the chefs and the owners, always on duty and ready to welcome anyone who wants to stop for a refreshing break. I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. I often eat at this restaurant for work. It's hands down the best restaurant I've found in Florence. The prices are more than fair, and the food and drinks are always top-quality. The service and cleanliness are impeccable.
