What to say.... the tagliatelle with chestnut flour and Cinta Senese ragù were delicious, while the pici all'aglione were seasoned with a mouth-watering creamy sauce. The peposo was so tender that it melted in your mouth, I have never tasted such tender and tasty meat. And finally the cake... simple, with fresh cream and lemon cream, with soft sponge cake, slightly moistened with liqueur, a delight for the palate...

Fantastic place in the greenery, family atmosphere, incredible food and more than excellent service. Highly recommended!

Visitato domenica 15 settembre. Nonostante i problemi all'impianto elettrico del locale che hanno rallentato l'arrivo delle portate, i cibi sono stati di ottimo livello. Molti cordiali i titolari del ristorante. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

We often visit this restaurant when we are on vacation in Tuscany. Not once did we have a bad experience, the pasta is always on point similar as the meat. The selection of food is typical for the region, similar as the nice wine selection. The restaurant is operated by a very nice and friendly couple which is open to accommodate for tourists not who don‘t speak Italian. To everyone traveling to this area of Italy I would always recommend to go there and taste the pici all'aglione followed by peposo.

Ormai quando posso questa è una tappa fissa. Era un po' che mancavamo e Loris e Stefania ci hanno stupito con nuovi piatti. Dico sempre che la loro cucina è ottima ed è difficile ormai trovare parole più convincenti. Eppure in questa occasione ho trovato gusti più marcati, anche sorprendenti, saporiti e accostamenti inediti. Abbiamo preso carpaccio di chianina marinato, la loro ormai super collaudata giardiniera, gnocchi alle erbette cacio e pepe, pici con ragù al vino rosso di tre carni, filetto di maialino brado alla senape con verdurine saltate al burro salato. Non ci siamo fatti mancare il dolce anche eravamo sazi: semifreddo al limone e semifreddo con i cantucci e vin santo, rigorosamente fatti in casa. Locale straconsigliato! Ricordatevi di prenotare diversi giorni prima!
