Have visited Trattoria Vicolo, Castelmola each time we’re in Taormina. Each time the food has been very good. Today I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara. If you’re expecting the rich source type of Carbonara then you might be very well surprised. It’s the genuine kind of Carbonara here. That you should expect in Sicily. For desert we shared Semi Freddo. It was really good! It’s made the period around Christmas. My wife ordered the Vegetable Soup. Once again it was very tasty, couldn’t be happier. The service was very good, no real surprise though. It’s worth the bus trip from Taormina to try this place.

Very nice place with lovely service. We were looked after by Carmelina. The food was great and so was the wine. Home made desserts were really good as well.

Posto molto tranquillo, con terrazzo sulle vie di Castelmola. Mangiare tipico siciliano molto buono, staff gentile e accogliente

I had such a great time at this place. The food was some of the most delicious Italian classics I've ever had. I strongly recommend the orecchiette and the squid. I also tried their almond desert wine, I regret not buying a bottle to take home!

The best pasta during my 2 weeks in southern Italy was here. I had the squid pasta. But my wife had the zucchini and ricotta which was just a bit better.

Friendly staff and beautiful location. We ordered 3 very good grilled second courses with satisfying portions. In total water, 3 seconds and a portion of chips as a side dish €18 per person. Advised

Typical trattoria in the heart of Castelmola. We were recommended the tagliatelle with squid ragout, truly delicious, among the best I've ever eaten. The uniqueness of the dish is that apparently they look like tagliatelle with meat sauce, but instead they are with squid! As a second course we had a delicious swordfish cutlet with a green salad on the side. The meal was accompanied by a glass of house red wine. Very suggestive location. Highly recommended if you want to eat in a typical Sicilian family-run trattoria.
