Walking through the beautiful alleys of CastelMola we stopped for lunch in this restaurant which was a wonderful discovery!
Local dishes cooked in an excellent way, we opted for a typical Sicilian appetizer and then a tagliatella with squid ragù!
The prices were also average 👍🏻

Family atmosphere, courtesy and friendliness enhance that part of rural Sicily that I like so much. The right service, not oppressive but not even 5, let's say normal. The location is particular, we had lunch on the terrace which overlooks a crossroads of streets, not panoramic, not a particularly worthy view, but characteristic. But honestly, I'm here to eat, so the view doesn't matter to me.
Please, don't rush, take your time (not too much, the service was very quick) to savor a part of true and seasoned Sicily.

By chance we found ourselves in the most beautiful village in the world, and not by chance in a restaurant where eating rhymes with LOVE AND FLAVOUR... whatever you order you will be in seventh heaven!!! THE KINDNESS, THE FRIENDLINESS, THE HOSPITALITY OF THE STAFF IS EXEMPLARY....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (the only flaw... IT CREATES INDEPENDENCE)

Excellent meal and experience thanks to the kindness of the staff and the talents of the cook!
6 adults, 6 different dishes ALL of incredible quality, from grilled meat, to fresh pasta, HOMEMADE olive oil, house wine and tiramisu... 😍😍
The setting is traditional, in the charm of the trattoria, everything was PERFECT, a big thank you 👌

Have visited Trattoria Vicolo, Castelmola each time we’re in Taormina.
Each time the food has been very good. Today I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara. If you’re expecting the rich source type of Carbonara then you might be very well surprised. It’s the genuine kind of Carbonara here. That you should expect in Sicily.
For desert we shared Semi Freddo. It was really good! It’s made the period around Christmas.
My wife ordered the Vegetable Soup. Once again it was very tasty, couldn’t be happier.
The service was very good, no real surprise though.
It’s worth the bus trip from Taormina to try this place.
