A welcoming restaurant in the heart of Modena with friendly staff, especially the owners, who are attentive to their guests' needs. I had lunch with colleagues and we sampled the typical local dishes, including the delicious tortellini a brodo. From the starters to the desserts, everything was truly delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the center of Modena.

Friendly and authentic. The food is excellent and respects tradition, with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is informal, and you might be lucky enough to stumble across a table with strangers, enjoying conversation and company. The prices are fair, and the staff is friendly.

The tortelloni with butter and sage were very good. The meatballs were highly recommended. The appetizer could be a little more generous. The restaurant is historic and very small, so reservations are practically mandatory. Quick service.

The place is very nice, with a typical and welcoming atmosphere. The food is really good and true to the local tradition. The service, however, wasn't the best at first: some waiters just seemed uninterested in their work. It improved toward the end, but the first impression wasn't great. For appetizers, we ordered two selections of cold cuts with torta fritta and tigelle. We were brought two baskets of torta fritta, two of tigelle, and a single cold cuts platter. Without us saying anything, the waitress told us she'd bring the second platter, but it never arrived. When we pointed this out to another waiter, he kept repeating that "it was all on the first platter" and that the two portions had been combined, even though that clearly wasn't the case. At a certain point, we decided to remain silent to avoid arguments. In conclusion: the place is beautiful and the food is excellent, but the service needs to be more attentive, clear, and organized.

A very authentic restaurant in the center of Modena! The staff was very nice and kind. The olace is very busy, we vey lucky enough to get a table without reservation, but reservation is recommended. They have great options of food, it was very tasty and local flavours. It is like you are eating at someones grandma. The prices are resonable, it is absolutly worth to eat here!

Excellent food, questionable service. I went for lunch with my parents and my partner. When ordering, there was a misunderstanding because I asked for ricotta and spinach ravioli when the menu said tortelloni. That's why I got pumpkin ravioli, and when I pointed out the mistake, the waitress got up to her old tricks, gum in her mouth, took the menu, and lectured me, saying I was the one who'd made the mistake. Maybe it was true... but there are different ways of saying things. In any case, the pumpkin ravioli were very good, excellent quality. It's a shame; with a little more smile and a little less smugness, the experience would have been excellent.

Bellissima esperienza, accoglienza e cibo impeccabile. Siamo arrivati senza prenotazione ma nel giro di 20 minuti ci hanno trovato in tavolo. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo!

Pranzo veloce, capitati per caso. Antipasto buono e leggero. Primi strepitosi. Abbiamo preso gnocco fritto con crudo, tortelloni ricotta e spinaci e strigoli funghi e pancetta. Personale gentile, veloce, disponibile. Consigliato! 😄
