I gave it top marks because the trattoria is a perfect combination of flavors, quality, and value. Antonio, the trattoria's manager, was able to welcome us and explain all the dishes he recommended. Returning to Benevento? Definitely, but with a pit stop at Trattoria Il Cinghiale.

I happened to be in Benevento and stumbled upon this trattoria.
I can say that the location is beautiful and welcoming; you can feel the history seeping through the walls.
The service and hospitality were entirely managed by the owner, Antonio, who delighted us with his jokes and his extremely good, locally sourced food.
Finally, I can say that even if it was by chance, I'm happy and delighted to have stumbled upon it.

Exquisite and welcoming place, excellent food and top-quality local products. The host, with his kindness and good manners, was very friendly and welcoming.

While in the area for some business, I saw this place and, intrigued by the reviews, wanted to try it for myself. The owner, Mr. Antonio, immediately made me feel at ease and gave me the menu right away, something not all places do. The place has six or seven tables and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Antonio, who serves, describes each dish in a simple and non-invasive way. If you're in the area and enjoy good food, I recommend this restaurant. Prices aren't excessive, but they're average. I recommend.

Let me explain: quality food, typical and traditional, homemade pasta with excellent homemade sauces, local flavors and aromas, even if we're not from here but we have experience... All this with a truly honest and balanced bill, around thirty euros for an appetizer, first course, and second course... The chef, what can I say, is as genuine as his dishes.
The restaurant is small and welcoming.

Il vero km 0. Tutto veramente buonissimo.L’oste simpaticissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Locale semplice ma estremamente accogliente. In pieno centro ma un po’ nascosto in una stradina.
