We were in the area for work and we looked for a typical place to eat. This place seemed like the right one. We ordered some first courses and their specialty: wild boar meat. The first courses were very good, especially the wild boar ragù, which I highly recommend. The meat, on the other hand, convinced us a little less, it didn't excite us. Average prices.

Osteria with a capital O. Tasty and homemade dishes. The owner/chef Antonio embodies the spirit of the true host: courteous, jovial and punctual in explaining the dishes. A truly interesting person, present but not intrusive. Highly recommended all the wild boar dishes with a bonus point for the cured meats!

An experience to repeat. The highly qualified Antonio, Chef and owner, amazed us with his skills, experience and production of all the products used in the kitchen. We will return to Benevento even just for this beautiful gastronomic experience.

Restaurant found by chance but we will be back soon. Welcoming place, very kind owner and super attentive to every single guest in the room, not to mention the food... everything delicious and taken care of in the smallest details. Absolutely to recommend, personally I will be back soon

Absolutely try Trattoria Il Cinghiale in the heart of Benevento! This little jewel, almost hidden behind a discreet door in the historic center, turns out to be an exceptional surprise. The intimate atmosphere, with just seven tables, creates a welcoming and familiar environment, thanks also to the warm welcome of the owner and chef. The real surprise, however, is the superb quality of the dishes and the wine. The menu, although limited, is a triumph of authentic flavours, enhanced by the use of largely self-produced raw materials: from cheeses to ham, from bread to oil, up to the house wine. You can clearly perceive the passion and care in the selection of ingredients and in the preparation of each course. The overall experience was truly memorable, a perfect combination of the authenticity of a traditional trattoria and the excellence of genuine products. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience, in an intimate and convivial setting.

Il vero km 0. Tutto veramente buonissimo.L’oste simpaticissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Locale semplice ma estremamente accogliente. In pieno centro ma un po’ nascosto in una stradina.

Entrare in questa piccola osteria (consiglio sempre la prenotazione) è come essere ospiti nella casa di un cordiale, vecchio amico. Ti offre il meglio della sua masseria, preparato con amore e professionalità. L'antipasto del cinghiale, con la focaccia dall'impasto con farina di grano locale e fritta in olio di cocco (salutare, digeribile) condita con salsa di pomodoro fresco; i salumi tagliati a coltello; la frittata di uovo d'oca e i formaggi, di bufala e di pecora (dalla particolare razza in via d'estinzione). Quest'ultimo, insieme ai gherigli di noci, come oro nel palato per quanto gustoso. I primi, con l'esaltazione della pasta fatta in casa, nei piatti abbondanti e conditi ad hoc, di agnolotti ripieni di ricotta fresca al ragù di cinghiale o di pappardelle ai funghi porcini. Ma è nel secondo prescelto, la bistecca di marchigiana, dove l'esperienza nella frollatura e marinatura la fa da padrone. 32 ore per una carne tenerissima, dal sapore inimitabile. Perché da greggi allevati in semilibertà, alimentati naturalmente. Il piatto è stato accompagnato da zucchine allo scapece perfette. Per finire, due dolci che concludono con un 10 perfetto il pranzo. Sbrisolona con ricotta e gocce di cioccolato, una delizia che si scioglieva in bocca e Babba' allo Strega, alto e soffice. Il prezzo finale rapportato alla qualità è stato ottimo, come la sua accoglienza.

25/06/2025: Historic family-run pizzeria, with a long tradition that can be felt in the authentic flavor of the pizza. Bread-style dough, neither soft nor with a high crust: simply good! You can eat inside, with the TVs on (ideal for games), or on the terrace, perfect on summer evenings. Welcoming atmosphere, with historic photos of the town and also moments of conviviality such as the pre-Christmas bingo. A place I have been fond of since I was a child, and where I always gladly return.
27/04/2025: Excellent, truly homely tavern I highly recommend it to all my friends In the kitchen all women. Their specialty is homemade pasta. And parpadelle sauce with porcini mushrooms and sausage. I recommend it, reasonable prices.

Pizzeria Braceria 60/70 Club

17/05/2025: We celebrated my husband's birthday in this place, we were first of all impressed by the great availability and professionalism of Gianluca the owner, who was able to respond to our needs. The place is welcoming also suitable for couples with children because it is a quiet environment, where you eat very well. We used the pizza tour formula and therefore we were able to taste various types of pizza, we must say all very good, light and thin dough. Special mention for the fried foods really excellent and all handmade including the chips that are made entirely by them, something very rare to find in the places. We really recommend it to everyone !! Really exceptional value for money congratulations for the passion and seriousness!!
11/05/2025: Top notch pizza, spectacular dough, in my opinion the best in the area, anyone who doesn't judge it is lying. Super artisanal fried foods at the top and very kind staff.
