I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. Our experience was great. The service was efficient and warm. The food was excellent. The bruschetta to start was delicious with the right balance of garlic. The tagliatelle ragu was delicious and well priced. Ignore the negative reviews. This was one of our favourites in Taormina

I was with my daughter in Taormina for 2 days on holiday and we tried this delicious restaurant, we ate very well, the service is excellent, the guys are really delicious, knowledgeable and helpful, the prices are not even exaggerated and they give you a free bruschetta at the start of the meal and an almond rosolio at the end, truly excellent.

We had lunch at the beginning of October 2024. Excellent location in the heart of Taormina. For the rest, prices are exaggerated for the quality of the dishes offered. Courteous and kind staff, they made up for it by sending it back.

I tried to go somewhere else, but there was a lot of waiting in the evening, so I visited the nearby IL BACCANALE. The pasta alla norma wasn't bad. The steak was ordered and brought out without even asking about the degree of cooking. The steak was thin, so it felt like the portion was smaller than what is served at restaurants in the Tuscany region. There were a lot of customers during dinner time and the restaurant atmosphere was nice.

Had a wonderful lunch. Great little find.
I had the grilled squid, absolutely superb.
My wife had grilled sardines, also wonderful.
They even prepared a salad to our own requirements.
Staff were great.. very relaxed setting.

Great food and service! We went there three times during our stay in Taormina and were recognised personally by staff on the second and third visits, so we were made to feel welcome. Nice touches of a free bruschetta at the start of each meal and a free almond liqueur at the end. I recommend the black pasta!
