The place is nicer inside than outside, with a lovely dining room. Service is quick and friendly. The quality, quantity, and price are very good. Expect home-made flavors and tastes; it's truly home-cooked. I recommend the potato gnocchi (just like your mom or grandma made them). We'll be back!

Everything was very clean and tidy... delicious food and excellent value for money... I recommend the sliced ​​roast beef, potatoes in tecia, and a creamy millefeuille to finish. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and everyone, from the kitchen to the dining room, had a smile on their face. I should point out that Mr. Pierluigi's review refers to the restaurant in Oslavia that bears the same name.

I rarely comment on my experiences out of respect for others!!! But this time I'll make an exception. This Gostilna trattoria truly deserves the recognition it deserves, which makes it unique: traditional local dishes expertly prepared by expert hands, tasty yet light, with select ingredients that enhance the flavors without weighing them down. A very family-friendly atmosphere with constant attention to diners and virtually no wait times! Everything is well-maintained and well-organized. I went with the workers' menu, excellent value for money. Everything was delicious and authentic. I especially recommend the desserts, especially the apple strudel.

A confession: We dined here because it was the only restaurant open on a Monday within walking distance of our accommodation. That said, it was well worth the walk! Evening service starts at 19.00. No printed menu available when we visited, dishes available talked through in broken English and our poor Italian. This was a problem as credit/debit cards not accepted and we didn't know if our cash would cover our meal (there is an ATM a couple of hundred metres away though). Turned out prices were low and we should have been a little more extravagant! Good, simple, family cooking, and carafe wines in a comfortable, family style dining room. We were made very welcome despite limited language skills on both sides. Our last evening in the area, or we'd return.
