Home-made, high-quality cuisine with a good price-quality ratio, in a typical trattoria atmosphere.

Traditional Tuscan cuisine. Small space on the ground floor and upstairs. However, everything is original and connected to the Tuscan tradition.

This trattoria is beautifully located, right next to the Rocchetta Arriga in Piazza Giosuè Carducci, which leads to the pedestrian area. It's also just steps from the convenient and free (2-hour parking disc) station parking lot. We chose à la carte dishes; among the things I really enjoyed, I recommend the chef's homemade gnocchi. I've attached a photo of the mysterious "Gatto Nero" appetizer. There are only a few tables on the ground floor, so we enjoyed lunch in perfect harmony with both the other guests and the restaurant staff, who were very knowledgeable and courteous. Having booked using a well-known app, I received the discount I'd agreed upon before paying.

Welcoming and well-kept place set with its own tablecloth and excellent, well-cooked food, I was surprised by the marinated anchovies made by them, spectacular.

I'll definitely be back. The lady in the dining room was excellent, the food was excellent, and the price was right. Just like home.

Trattoria Gatto Nero is an authentic retreat in the heart of Pietrasanta. The location is beautiful, but the food is even more spectacular. The real star is the quality of the ingredients, crafted with respect for tradition. Both the ravioli and tordelli are exceptional. You can taste the fresh, handmade pasta. The meat and fish ragù are flavorful and enveloping, a must-try! The tagliata is the dish that stole my heart, perfectly cooked, pink, tender, and flavorful. A meat-based main course that alone is worth the trip, accompanied by crispy and delicious roast potatoes. For seafood lovers, their fritto misto is a surprise, highly recommended. Overall, if you're looking for the authentic flavors of Tuscany and a lunch or dinner that will leave you completely satisfied, Gatto Nero is the place to be.
