Al gatto nero si respira storia e si mangia una ciccia super buona! La fiorentina era spettacolare... E anche i bimbi hanno gradito tutto! Servizio cordiale e professionale. Noi abbiamo apprezzato anche la parte superiore del locale dove si possono apprezzare i dettagli di quella che una volta era una cella di prigione..l'esterno è altrettanto piacevole e arioso.

Characteristic environment located in the guard post of the ancient Pietra Santina gate. Excellent cuisine with many dishes with homemade products. A note of merit for the cooking with Alberta, Caterina and Paola.

Cozy place, located in the historic center of the city. Excellent service with an assorted menu (both meat and fish) with excellent quality products cooked even better (especially the fish-based dishes). Absolutely worth trying, even just to spend a quiet evening with your family

I had wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and I went on December 31st because you could dine with an à la carte menu. We took fish dishes which, honestly, didn't excite me

In Pietrasanta a very welcoming place, traditional and tasty food. The homemade tordelli and gnocchi are particularly worth it. I also recommend the Gatto nero appetizer: to savor many Tuscan delights! A round of applause to Valentina who recommended the dishes to us with cordiality, friendliness and professionalism. The environment also creates a nice atmosphere...We will definitely be back!

At the foot of the walls of Pietrasanta, a characteristic and welcoming restaurant where you can taste excellent Tuscan cuisine. The staff is professional, caring and kind. Congratulations to Valentina, Margherita and Andrey! Quality Fiorentina: excellent cutting and cooking. The focaccia served as an accompaniment is crazy. Highly recommended!

15/03/2025: We love coming here whenever we are around Benabbio. It'a small, family run restaurant with good regional food with some international staples. The sparkling white wine and gnocchi in a sweet cherry tomato sauce with a sprinkle of ricotta are something I still dream of and order repeatedly. This is not a fancy restaurant, rather a homey, straight forward place. The prices are affordable. The wait time is usually short. Unless it's a holiday or a day with a special menu (check their Facebook for upates), then I recommend booking a table in advance. The owners are wonderful people - very helpful and attentive. Giovanni's pizzas are one of a kind, with a crispy thin crust and you can watch him bake them in the oven. We especially recommend getting one with mascarpone as it balances all the textures beautifully. You can always ask Alessandra to help you pick a dish or if they have any specials, and you won't be dissapointed. There are also seasonal dishes based on fresh seafood or mushrooms depending on the time of year. Another must-try are their desserts and pasta fritta with cheese and prosciutto as an appetizer!
