August 2024 We were in L'Aquila for the day and they took me to Franchino, what can I say, he is very kind and friendly, very nice, the service is exceptional and the food is of a superlative quality, everything is truly delicious, every dish is a delicacy, we will definitely be back, highly recommended !

From the moment you enter, you perceive a warm and familiar atmosphere, with a simple but extremely welcoming environment, capable of making you immediately feel at home. The menu is a journey through authentic and genuine flavours. I started with an appetizer of fried pasta, crunchy and light, perfect for whetting the appetite. But the real masterpiece came with the first: tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and truffle. An explosion of intense and enveloping flavors, with the right creaminess and a balance of aromas that remains imprinted. For second, I chose the kebabs, cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty as you rarely find. Special praise goes to the staff: kind, attentive and genuinely passionate. It's not just about impeccable service, but about people who transmit love for their work. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a dinner full of tradition and goodness. Authentic flavours, warm, Abruzzo-style welcome and excellent quality. I will definitely be back!

This small trattoria in the village of Assergi welcomed us into its comfortable and familiar spaces. The dishes were very tasty and top quality, the thing that surprised us were certainly the very generous portions. We went for lunch and ate the cold and hot appetizer, the kebabs and the pasta. Finally also a sweet. A very nice place to stop to rest and enjoy a good traditional dish!

Il grande Franchino ancora una volta ha dimostrato di essere una persona speciale proprietario di una trattoria davvero eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Ad iniziare dal buonissimo ed abbondandissimo antipasto; agli ottimi primi con pasta fatta in casa ed ai speciali secondi di carne locale. Ancora una volta bravo Franchino. I giorni festivi si consiglia di prenotare perché il locale è piccolo.

Franchino ti fa sentire letteralmente a casa, ti accoglie come se fossi un amico da sempre. Cordiale e premuroso, con il forte senso dell’accoglienza che solo gli abruzzesi hanno. Le pietanze sono tutte genuine e caserecce, antipasti ben variegati. Prezzi davvero onesti. Un riferimento per chi si trovasse in zona per raggiungere Campo Imperatore. Tornerò con piacere.
