5 star review I just returned from dinner at this place and I can't help but share my extraordinary experience. From the moment you enter, you perceive a warm and familiar atmosphere, with a simple but extremely welcoming environment, capable of making you immediately feel at home. The menu is a journey through authentic and genuine flavours. I started with an appetizer of fried pasta, crunchy and light, perfect for whetting the appetite. But the real masterpiece came with the first: tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and truffle. An explosion of intense and enveloping flavors, with the right creaminess and a balance of aromas that remains imprinted. For second, I chose the kebabs, cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty as you rarely find. Special praise goes to the staff: kind, attentive and genuinely passionate. It's not just about impeccable service, but about people who transmit love for their work. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a dinner full of tradition and goodness. Authentic flavors, warm, Abruzzo-style welcome and excellent quality. I will definitely be back!

This small trattoria in the village of Assergi welcomed us into its comfortable and familiar spaces. The dishes were very tasty and top quality, the thing that surprised us were certainly the very generous portions. We went for lunch and ate the cold and hot appetizer, the kebabs and the pasta. Finally also a sweet. A very nice place to stop to rest and enjoy a good traditional dish!

The dishes, such as the olaci and bacon pasta and the exquisite Glicia, are prepared with skill and love, making every bite an authentic pleasure. Everything was simply delicious. An unmissable place for those looking for genuine flavors and a warm welcome.

You have to go there at least once, because you have to get to know Franchino. We ate well, I would say abundant, in a very informal, characteristic, confusing environment, but cool for that. It is a quiet place in an unfortunately ghost town.

Il grande e simpaticissimo Franchino, ancora una volta, conferma di essere un eccellenza culinaria: partendo dal variegato ed abbondante antipasto per passare agli ottimi primi fatti con pasta fatta in casa ed ai secondi di carne locale davvero ottimi. Bravo Franchino. Nelle giornate festive occorre prenotare perché il locale è un pò piccolo e quindi è sempre pieno. Consigliatissimo.

Esperienza veramente piacevole, eravamo già super sazi con l'antipasto, molto abbondante e vario e davvero ben cucinati i caldi, ma ci era avanzata mezza bottiglia dell'ottimo montepulciano Vallevò, che straconsiglio, e quindi ci siamo sacrificati con una gricia e dei ravioloni al ragù.
