Typical Italian restaurant. 💕
Since we don't speak Italian and no one here spoke German, English, or French, and there was no menu but a set menu where you could choose from alternatives for each course, we communicated more with gestures. And we were very satisfied with what we got. After three of the four courses, we were full and didn't have to pay for the fourth course, which was very kind.
We felt very comfortable – thank you for the hospitality and the good food.

We had lunch yesterday, August 15th. The restaurant was packed, but excellent organization kept us waiting. Excellent authentic, traditional dishes, very friendly and attentive service. Well done!

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the dishes, but I assure you, it deserves 5 stars. The place has a slightly retro feel, but you feel right at home! The menu isn't very extensive (two first courses and four or five second courses), which, as they say, is small but good: the portions are super generous. There were five of us, and we shared three appetizers, which practically filled us up. Everything was delicious. I recommend the polenta with mushroom sauce, guanciale, and crema catalana cake! A bonus for the owner's friendliness!
I can't wait to go back!

This restaurant, located in the Parma hills, offers traditional Parmesan cuisine. A truly positive experience. We dined under the gazebo, fortunately enjoying the cool air and escape from the heat of the city.
The staff were helpful, although with so many seats, they may have gotten a little overwhelmed. However, the generous portions and the delicious dishes met my expectations.
We'll definitely be back at Gelsy.
