Chance led us to this restaurant. We were not disappointed. It was very good and the team very welcoming. The chef's daughter speaks a little French and gave us very good advice. Be careful, this is a real Italian restaurant, there is no menu card. It costs between 25 and 30€ per person with starter, main course, dessert and drink.

We went for lunch on Sunday, without a reservation, the place was very full, I thought who knows how long we would have to wait, but instead, a very cute and beautiful waitress served us immediately, from the starter to the side dishes everything was delicious 😋 congratulations 💯 price? 35 per person complete lunch! Optimal!

We returned on July 28th after about 15 years. Slightly disappointed with the quality, not bad but I remembered better. The service should be improved, only two people serving very few. Prices appropriate to the quality and service.

We went to eat at Fopla today 07/28/24.
As soon as we arrived the waitress suggested we sit in a room near the window because it ventilated more (35 degrees outside).
She reads the menu to us (so there is no physical menu to browse or a QR code to see.... So the prices are not mentioned anywhere, we go very blindly and by feeling).
We order: a polenta messed up for two
A plate of gnocchi with ancient sauce (in short tomato gnocchi with sauté) and stuffed tip with potatoes.
Overall good polenta, it is presented in this large dish but in the end there isn't much substance... Just enough to tease something.
The first (gnocchi) had a very sweet flavor, good cooking and is a bit to personal taste.... I honestly couldn't tell if it was the sweet sauce or the slightly salty cooking water.
The stuffed tip unfortunately FLOP, as soon as I brought it I was amazed at the enormous portion... then when I ate it there was very little... practically 80% fat waste, the filling was very soft, almost watery. Very good side potatoes.
I gave 3 stars to the location for the simple fact that in summer you can't stay in the room with the windows open, it's sultry and full of flies everywhere... Mine is not a criticism but a piece of advice... seeing as the place wasn't that full... putting us in this room where there is no air (even with an open window) and 5 flies arriving on the plate every 5 seconds, in short, it wasn't the best. At least a fan to circulate the air wouldn't be bad. The mosquito nets were comfortable, it's a pity that the doors were constantly open.

The classic grandmother's trattoria, where the grandmother welcomes you with the immaculate white apron and the crest that collects her hair and the rest is just a symphony of aromas, flavors and pleasures of the past. Classic Parma or Parma cuisine, if you prefer, where the fried cake reigns supreme, you would eat an industrial quantity of it even with Nutella spread for dessert. Not least the cold cuts, a varied platter of cured meats; from the delicate taste of Parma ham to the more decisive salami. The first courses can be chosen with your eyes closed because whatever dish you choose is just a journey back to grandmother's times. As a second course, the noble pig reigns supreme: ribs, shank, stuffed tip, etc. but also stewed wild boar and a superlative roast beef, which melts in the mouth seasoned with balsamic vinegar from Modena and the doors of culinary paradise open. Classic desserts complete the menu. I forgot two things: the staff was present and very kind but always discreet, the prices were more than honest, referring to the quality and quantity of the food and finally a piece of advice, go early otherwise the waiting times will get longer if you are in a hurry, while for those Don't rush, enjoy these great joys of life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

The restaurant is located in the Parma hills.
They offer a menu that changes often so they tell you orally. Precisely for this reason you have little choice
The dishes are very good and typical and above all very abundant.
The staff very kind and helpful.
Parking is available and reservations are recommended.

Pranzo con un gruppo di 100 persone. Cordialità dimostrata fin da subito, massima disponibilità ad ascoltare le necessità dei singoli partecipanti. Salumi ottimi, gnocco fritto e polenta fritta favolosi. Ottimi i formaggi, i ravioli e la sbrisolona. Persone che lavorano con passione e dedizione senza mai farsi mancare il sorriso. Davvero bravi

Siamo stati una domenica sera di Aprile in questo ristorante , situato in una zona un po’ nascosta ma il viaggio vale la pena . Gli ambienti sono un po’ spartani all inizio ma poi il servizio gentile e veloce fa scordare tutto . Il menù è basato sulla tradizione del posto. Non abbiamo visto un vero e propio menu ma là cameriera gentilmente ci consigliava e spiegava i vari piatti del giorno . Le porzioni sono state enormi e la qualità dei piatti molto buona il prezzo finale sbalorditivo per noi che veniamo dalla provincia di Milano . In conclusione se siete in zona anche in famiglia anche in gruppi numerosi chiamate prenotate e resterete sicuramente soddisfatti certo che se cercate piatti da Masterchef qui non fa per voi ….
