It is a wine bar and restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere and great service. I personally loved the starters; The rest of the dishes were breaded and fried and I don't tolerate it well. The desserts are not bad.

Avevamo frequentato questo ristorante tanti anni fa, con la gestione precedente. Ma adesso ci piace di più.
Location semplice ma ben organizzata; servizio professionale e cortese; menù scarno, proprio come piace a noi: vuol dire proporre quello che è disponibile di volta in volta senza allargare inutilmente la lista: bravi!
Abbiamo mangiato ottimi spaghettoni con granchio, aglione e nduja, buonissimi gnocchi di zucca con cavolo nero, funghi, formaggio (non era proprio un erborinato ma formaggio accompagnato da erbe cosparse). Per secondo piatto cotoletta di vitella purè e cicoria e un'ombrina (buonissima) con composta di porro e cime di rapa.
Per finire una tartelletta con pere e cioccolato.
Vino della casa e ratafia per accompagnare il dessert.
Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo

Pleasant environment but we were on the veranda with the table near the opening of a French window busy with smoking customers. In reality the place wasn't full so perhaps it would be better to occupy tables like ours only if no other tables are available.
I didn't completely like the food... the vegetable tempura with the mayonnaise sauce was top, but the mozzarella in carrozza was heavy; the pork shoulder with mushrooms and chestnuts was undercooked and salty in some places although overall I still liked it a lot as the flavors combined well.
I didn't give the service full marks only because the waiting times were long... for the rest I found organization, courtesy, availability and professionalism in managing our observations on the dishes.

We came to Epirus for the first time, on the advice of friends, and it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with an open kitchen that adds a touch of transparency and authenticity. The service was attentive and kind, and the menu was refined, accompanied by an interesting wine list.
The dishes are delicious and well presented. We chose the pork head coppa in a crust with figs and goat's cheese, the pan doro with marinated anchovies, prickly pears and yoghurt, the amatriciana mezze sleeves, the maltagliati with wild boar ragù and a splendid breaded slice of veal. Everything was really excellent, compliments to chef Michele!

I had dinner in this delightful place where you are welcomed and looked after with professionalism and competence. The menu is streamlined, follows the seasons and the high quality raw materials are the absolute protagonist. Not the usual Roman style on the plate, but much more, creativity and innovation yes, but without distortions. Among what we consumed, the onion soup, the breaded slice (perfect) and the desserts stand out, especially the soft biscuit with custard and strawberry grape sorbet. It drinks very well, the choice is wide, however well concentrated on niche wineries of great quality (the same goes for the bitters and sweet dessert wines, which are exceptional). Absolutely honest account and excellent quality ratio. If you don't already know it (it is among the 10 trattorias/bistros in Italy awarded by the guides), I invite you to do so. I will definitely go back.

Posto grazioso e accogliente. Cucina tradizionale romana ma anche con qualche variazione. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da consigliare.
