In a city center now overrun with soulless eateries, this place endures with pride and passion, offering authentic Florentine cuisine, the kind made with tradition, simplicity, and heart. It's a historic family-run trattoria, and it shows. There's nothing fake here: from the simple, refined decor to the kind words of the family who welcomes you, everything speaks of the true Florence, the one that still knows how to cook as it once was. The menu is a journey through authentic flavors: • the pappa al pomodoro is creamy, fragrant, comforting, with that genuine flavor reminiscent of home and childhood; • the peposo has a depth that only those who cook it with love can give it; • the Florentine steak is simply perfect—thick, rare, served with respect and pride. All accompanied by a sincere, honest house wine that does its job and does it well. But what really wins you over is the atmosphere: here, they call you by name, ask how you're doing, and listen to you. And finally, as always, comes the "amore della casa," a craft amaro that only they have—and which has become, at least for me, the taste of gratitude. It's my favorite place. A refuge. Não fica no centro mais turístico de Florença mas vale muito a pena! Fomos super bem recebidos, um ambiente acolhedor e simpático e a comida estava 5 estrelas. Boas doses e muito bem confecionada. Recomendamos este restaurante a quem venha visitar Florença. Muito fácil reservar online e garantir mesa.
