Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and great atmosphere too. The menu is extensive and something for everyone. I also like that all allergens are clearly labeled.

I am the king of lasagna but found one that's even better than my own. This one was the real classic Italian version. Brilliant. One critique about the restaurant itself: please install a curtain in front of the door to keep the cold out. it's not so nice to sit at the front now.

Edit. 2 years later we stopped in for dinner still the best tiramisu and dinner and staff still so friendly. Supper was most likely one of the best we have had in italy to Date. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was quaint. The staff were so friendly. Best tiramisu

The service was excellent! Attentive, fast, good-humored, helpful. However the food was unimpressive (barring the insalata di francesca which was large and delicious). We had the lasagna and the roast pork. The portion of lasagna was not very large, especially relative to the price and was served on a large plate with not so much as a garnish making it look even smaller. The flavor and texture were good, but not exceptional, it tasted like home-cooked lasagna but not in a good way. The roast pork was a little dry, the gravy on it was split, and the roasted potatoes looked like they had been sitting for a while. Again, looked and tasted like something one might cook at home.

What a wonderful evening! We decided to go on a whim and even got a table for two without a reservation. Lovely guests, very attentive and friendly service, and simply fantastic food: appetizer, main course, dessert, all homemade and exquisitely seasoned.
