I have never left a review for anyone but I can't help but do it this time.. I ate very well with a family service characterized by courtesy and kindness... but the final Apple Pie really shocked me and took me back in time... it had been years since I had tasted the cake made the way my grandmother used to make it... at the first bite I was blocked and suddenly I could smell and taste the cake that my beloved grandmother used to make me again! An indescribable experience! I thank you infinitely for taking me back in time in the memory of my grandmother! Of course every time I return to Bassano I will not be able to help but come back to visit you!

Best bigoli with duck I've ever had (I've tried maybe 15 times around Italy). Very nice staff and there is a small changing table in the restroom for changing babies. The price for our lunch was very reasonable. It's tucked away on a side street, but worth finding.

No big deal, they turned up their noses when we asked for the tourist menu (it was Friday and it was displayed on the noticeboard at the entrance) I asked if we could take dishes in addition to the menu of the day, obviously paying the price displayed and he wasn't happy with it (for example, we would have taken 2 starters and 2 desserts, about 30 euros more)... And so we consumed it quickly and left.... I don't dispute, but I certainly don't recommend it....

Consigliati da un gestore di un bar lì vicino il locale veramente carino Servizio gentile e veloce piatti tipici spettacolari Menziono bigoli con battuto d'anatra e le costine con fagioli e salsa bassanese Delizioso il dolce Ottima scelta dei vini Veramente una bellissima cena Grazie a tutto lo staff per l'ottima serata

I highly recommend stopping for lunch/dinner in this typical little place in the center of Bassano del Grappa... Exquisite food, excellent service and the atmosphere is pampering. Compliments especially to the chef!

Nos topamos en este pintoresco lugar mientras caminábamos por Bassano del Grappa. Estaba fuera de lo común y bastante tranquilo para una tarde de almuerzo. Terminamos teniendo una comida realmente rústica y auténtica que superó las expectativas en todos los ámbitos. Tuvimos una de las mejores lasaña de la historia. Era vegetariano y cremoso delicioso. Un plato de maccheroni con setas también fue fantástico.

07/02/2025: Just two words to describe Tonello: THE TRATTORIA! Try it to believe it. Family atmosphere, simply special bigoli with duck ragù, the best mixed grill you could wish for with meat always fresh and cooked to perfection! Excellent side dishes and the icing on the cake... the SPECTACULAR tiramisu! Thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm. You are great!
07/02/2025: Booked at 12pm for the evening at 9pm, called at 8.30pm to order as we were arriving late, at 9pm when we arrived superlative barbecue, good and plentiful side dishes, a show, fair price, recommended
