The owner, her son, Rosa in the kitchen, and her young team welcome you with an excellent seasonal menu! I chose linguine with clams, truly exquisite—it's been years since I've had something so special! For appetizers, the Garfagnana cured meats are truly excellent, and the rovelline lucchesi (no one makes them in Lucca anymore) are superb—try them! Honest and kind. A rarity in today's restaurant scene!

An old, traditional Lucca trattoria. A small but welcoming place. Simple, traditional dishes are well-prepared. The homemade tordelli alla lucchese are certainly above average (above average). The stewed rosticciana with olives and polenta (it's a shame the latter was a bit undercooked) and the stuffed rabbit (the cooking juices could have been thickened more). Overall, a good experience at a fair price.
