A true gem in the heart of Tuscany! We discovered this trattoria almost by chance, but it was love at first bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that rustic touch that makes you feel immediately at home. The staff is kind, helpful and always ready to recommend the dish of the day or a good local wine to pair.

Awesome restaurant ! Owner was hands on and everything was cooked from scratch. It reminded me of Sunday family dinners in the states! Please don't miss this gem!

Great food and wine very reasonable

The restaurant has a good reputation, and that's something. In our experience (dinner for two) it was not fully confirmed. You have to know how to make a carbonara well, otherwise you won't put it on the menu. Even the homemade dessert (a simple tiramisu) was without infamy or praise and in the evening it "recurred" in digestion. In Lucca, where you generally eat well, you expect much more. The service and the environment are more than pleasant but in our case getting the fundamentals wrong seemed serious to us. It may be that they perform better on other dishes (especially traditional ones) but I recommend not offering what you are not sure you can do well. I understand that carbonara, a non-local dish, was added because all foreigners ask for it, but that's no reason to make it in a hurry or badly.

Assolutamente consigliato. Il proprietario Andrea, sua figlia e sua madre persone gentili e disponibili. Cibo fresco e di qualità, ottimi i tortellini, ma anche tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato.

Cuisine maison. Bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel sympathique. Loin de l'agitation du centre ville. Je recommande.
