El servicio fue excelente. Nuestro servidor era atento y atento y hablaba inglés, que era muy útil. Pedimos el menú fijo con cuatro entrantes, un plato de pasta y vino por 25 euros por persona. Esta opción nos proporcionó varios platos de Abruzos para degustar más un plato de pasta y vino.

Wonderful find from the stop at Sulmona. Truly traditional Italian experience. The pasta was delicious and fresh, so were the tomatoes and red garlic. You can see the kitchen works on demand and everything is cooked fresh. Overall great lunch and even greater food!
Really great food. Traditional dishes refined. You eat well and abundantly, you pay the right amount. A fixed stop in Sulmona. No. 1!!!

We booked the day before because I had read that sometimes it is difficult to find a place if you don't book.
We ate really well.
We had an appetizer divided in two that included: really excellent local cold cuts and cheeses, a portion of cheese and egg balls (the best I have eaten in my life) and a portion of spelt with beans.
Then we divided a first course (the portions are very generous). We had tagliolini with sheep ragù. The pasta is fresh, it is made on the spot.
Everything very good.
Very friendly and nice staff.
I will return if I pass through Sulmona ❤️

True Abruzzo trattoria. Delicious dishes and generous portions. The menu is seasonal and always fresh. Friendly and always available staff. Appetizers with sliced ham and local cheeses (spectacular). Really good first courses. Given the portions, unfortunately we stopped at the first courses, next time we will try the various second courses. Highly recommended.
