Under the advice of the owner of the accommodation, we had dinner in this typical trattoria... we found the typical flavors and the p with which they are prepared. Everything was very good, the staff in the room were very kind. They accommodated us even though we hadn't booked. Advised!

Delicious. We really enjoyed that trattoria of excellence. We start with a Vitello Tonnato e Bruschette Mix. The Maiale stinco was fantastic, the pasta with Cinghiale delicious al dente and the manzo tagliata with just a little maldon salt and rosemary top. Great wines from Umbria but also from Tuscany etc!! The calm and friendly owner. Highly recommended

Pretty good food, but I've had much better. Pastas that we had was definitely a bit undercooked. I would prefer them to be true to the traditional than trying to be fancy with their twists. Overall not bad at all, would I go back? No.

We came here encouraged by the opinions of others, and we came back because we liked it very much. We ate wonderful umbrichelli with wild boar ragú with thinly sliced ​​truffles, as well as spaghetti with freshly prepared pesto. The guinea fowl with truffles in herbal sauce was also fantastic. All this with a smile and polite conversation from the chef. Finally, a digestivo treat. I definitely recommend it! A big plus for a clean bathroom. 😊

We stopped last night at one of the outside tables. The first thing we noticed was the kindness of the staff: a young but really kind boy and girl, the boy also gave us some extra advice for our visit to Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini to share, the portion was more than decent: there were 5 of them and they were quite large, so easily divisible into two parts. As a first course I asked for cacio e pepe, good but not memorable. My husband instead ordered truffle and wild boar umbricelli, I tasted them and they were really good and well balanced. Honorable mention for dessert: peanut pannacotta with salted caramel. The pannacotta was nice and delicate, and it was because the salted caramel was really tasty. Amazing thing, I would have eaten ten of them! We highly recommend it!

Dall'esecuzione dei piatti base (erroneamente considerati semplici) si può stabilire chi padroneggia il mestiere della cucina e chi no. Alla Trattoria dell'Orso lo padroneggiano con sicurezza. La cacio e pepe è all'altezza dei migliori ristoranti romani. La pasta "dell'Orso"(versione rivisitata della "sorrentina" con pasta fatta in casa) è equilibrata e gustosa. La posizione del locale è davvero suggestiva, su una piazza dall'atmosfera medievale. L'ambiente è semplice, pulito e molto accogliente, il servizio puntuale e cortese. Bisognerà tornarci.

Trattoria tipica situata nel centro storico di Orvieto, locale molto intimo ed elegante. Menù piuttosto ampio che rispecchia le tradizioni locali; ottimi i tagliolini al tartufo. Servizio veloce e puntuale, ottima scelta di vini.
