I went there for a Boxing Day lunch with relatives, and I have to say it was a lovely discovery. The menu was classic Piedmontese, and everything was very good and plentiful. Even the house wine was good, which is rare at these events. The only advice I can give is to give two choices for dessert, or to have a plan B, because it wasn't indicated that bonet was available, and not everyone likes it. Otherwise, I highly recommend it, both for the price and the service, which was relaxed and unobtrusive. I think we'll be back.

We visited on the way to the Sacra di San Michele. Lovely little ristorante with friendly owners. Seemed to be popular with the locals too, always a good sign. We had a mixed Piedmontese starter followed by fresh picked fried porchini mushrooms! We then had two local cheeses, coffee and a grappa. I would go again and try one of the other delicious sounding dishes without hesitation.

22/11/2025: Excellent 😋. The pizzas are amazing, and so are the beers. The boss is very kind and friendly, as are the staff.
20/09/2025: Il Carpo is simply splendid, meticulously crafted and capable of making every guest feel at home. Agata and Tony, two wonderful people and dear friends of ours, put their heart and soul into everything they do, and it shows in every dish. The food is superb: from the fragrant and delicious pizzas to the flavorful pasta dishes, to the desserts that captivate you from the first bite. Each course is a true treat for the palate. A heartfelt thank you to Agata and Tony for their hospitality, professionalism, and friendship, which make every visit a special experience. Alessandra and Paolo.

04/11/2025: The price is a little high but the food and service are good.
08/10/2025: A truly great place, in a beautiful setting. Beautiful terrace. Top-notch food. BUT the service was really poor. There was a long wait, no anticipation. We had to call the waiters to move on to the next item. I'm clearly not the only one to have experienced this. We really need to do something about it!
