Trattoria del Vapore In Cernobbio

I said "that's good!" at least twice, which is anything but a given lately. The room is rather small with a characteristic historic fireplace which only has an aesthetic function, a little too crowded with objects for my tastes. There is a very wide selection of wines offered through a large book which takes some time to consult but is the only one for the whole place. At the same time I don't think there are any staff trained in wine pairing. The food is really excellent. Fresh pasta, fresh mushrooms, excellent cooking. A restaurant worth a visit. The price is a little too high in relation to the service offered but considering that now, between Como and Cernobbio, tourism has gone to everyone's heads... at least here you can eat well.

Quiet and well-kept environment. Having fresh mushrooms... I tasted them both with fresh pasta tagliolini and with tagliatelle and I must say both dishes were excellent.

Italy at its finest. Highly recommend

Nice restaurant for a quiet evening in a nice place. All very good, it's a pity that during the choice of wine the book was literally taken away from us and a wine was recommended to us which later turned out not to be to our liking. If he had had one more minute of patience everything would have been much more pleasant. However, the place is worth it.
