05/02/2026: It was a quite February evening and the attention was only divided between a couple of tables, fair enough. I had the opportunity to get to know the owner and the immense pride and dedication he takes in preparing his every dish and component from. Scratch. Do not pass go when it comes to the Antipasti, they are simple local gems. The rest I leave to you to discover as I am sure no dish is lesser than the other. Choice of wine was also very intentional, superb. This place alone is good reason to visit Grammichele in all its simplicity yet intriguing 5 facets.
18/10/2025: The location is very charming, overlooking the iconic hexagonal square, the pride of Grammichele. Inside, the restaurant is simple, yet elegant and discreet, as it's quiet. The food and presentation are meticulously crafted with passion, and the ingredients are top-quality. As for the pizzas, they're the best you'll find in the Calatino area. Tasty and easy to digest, the dough is exceptional, and the ingredients are top-notch. Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: A truly wonderful memory of Palermo is tied to Pasticceria Salvo Albicocco, a true treasure discovered thanks to a dear friend. It was impossible not to start with the arancina: a perfect sphere of saffron rice and provola, perfectly golden, fragrant, and generous, perfect for sharing. A true delight. Next came the obligatory fried irises, then a tartlet and a selection of pastries that betrayed the craftsmanship of true professionals. To finish, a melon jelly, particularly raved about by my companion, made the finale simply spectacular.
29/12/2025: A highly renowned pastry shop in Palermo, they've also done a great job creating an entire pastry shop dedicated to celiac disease. We were able to purchase some nice-looking and delicious single-serving treats. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and very quick to explain the products. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options. Highly recommended.
