Historic lakefront trattoria with a spectacular view, managed by the current owners for about 40 years.
Fixed menu based on expertly cooked lake fish. Excellent riso in cagnone with perch.
Absolutely to try, better to book.
In some periods of the year also reachable by boat from Como but with few daily trips, better to check dates and times.

Storica trattoria gestita da decenni dalla famiglia Zambra. Menù fisso con ottimi piatti della tradizione locale. Possibilità, a fine pranzo, di sostare o fare una partita a bocce in un piccolo giardino a bordo lago. Consiglio di arrivare in battello se si vuole evitare la passeggiata in discesa all'andata e in risalita al ritorno. Comunque sicuramente ne vale la pena.

The setting and location is stunning but there is much to be left desired when it comes to the food.
I am honestly surprised by the other reviews given our experience. Particularly, given the fact that the restaurant serves the same menu and has done everyday since 1987.
The dishes were all very basic. No one in our group of six left satisfied with what they had eaten.
That being said, the location and view is breathtaking. The service was also top notch as was the wine on the set menu.

Un piccolo gioiello nascosto in cui è possibile assaggiare la vera cucina del Lago di Como.
Dalla terrazza si gode di una vista mozzafiato, ma ciò che più ci ha colpiti è la passione sincera che il personale profonde nel proprio lavoro.
Assolutamente consigliato, ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati come a casa.

A little hidden jewel where you can taste the real cuisine of Lake Como.
From the terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view, but what struck us most is the sincere passion that the staff shows in their work.
Absolutely recommended, we felt welcomed and pampered like at home.
