Authentic Italian flair. A little English. A very lively atmosphere. Excellent quality, prepared in a typically Italian style (simple and fresh). Even if the spaghetti doesn't exactly look homemade, the tomato sauce and scampi seem to have floated straight from the sea into the pan, it's definitely a recommendation. The menu is available via QR code in Spanish, English, and French, in addition to Italian.

Excellent value for money. We have been there twice. The first time we had appetizers and a first course, the second time, a first course and fried food. Very affordable prices, you can eat excellent fish without spending too much (the first courses of fish are around 12 euros). The Taranto mussels are exceptional! Among the appetizers I found the bianchetti (photo) and the mussels au gratin very good. The quantity of fish in the first course allo scoglio (photo) was such that after the appetizers the second course was useless. Everything is fresh and good. The pasta, the second time, was a bit soft while the octopus in the pasta the first night, were a bit hard (it is very common for this to happen). The Altamura bread was very good! Very fast and friendly service. The house white wine, pleasant. It is preferable to eat in the outside tent where the smell of the fishmonger is not invasive. If I return to Taranto, a city that I found very pleasant, it will be a must-see.

Trattoria with fishmonger in sight, simple but well cooked food, spartan environment, from another time with friendly staff and normal waiting times, fresh fish, their motto is "what we catch you eat", what can I say we ate well and spent relatively less than expected considering that it was a fish-based dinner. Very nice place, excellent service, waiters immediately available, ready to recommend the best... The food was excellent, all very fresh and delicious.... And I must say that the price was also excellent, we paid the right amount for excellent quality

A rather spartan place but with great substance that I would define as a fishmonger with kitchen on the outskirts of old Taranto. Once you have arrived and been seated you are greeted with a list of fish starters by the waiter on duty, once you have taken your order by reading on the back of your uniform you understand that there is no menu, or rather, the menu is the fish counter at the entrance or the shellfish tanks (impressive) immediately behind. Unfortunately in our short stay we only managed to try the excellent appetizers but in the meantime huge plates of raw and grilled fish flowed around us. Must try again.

Antipasti buoni. Crudo buono. Appena seduti siamo stati travolti da un cameriere certamente accogliente ma troppo pressante che ci ha proposto/imposto due primi. Li ha presentati così velocemente che non abbiamo capito. Siamo riusciti a modificarne solo uno ordinando linguine alle vongole: cruda e in parte attaccate tra loro. Poi sono arrivati dei paccheri con delle cicale di mare al sugo non pulire e un vassoio di pesce indefinito con sugo. La qualità dei primi è da ritenersi scarsa. Il prezzo degli antipasti del vino e del crudo nella norma, mentre dei primi, data anche la loro scarsa qualità, troppo alto. Insomma, una trattoria senza infamia né lode. Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Prodotti di alta qualità e porzioni abbondanti. Personale cortese che ti mette a tuo agio. Siamo stati a pranzo diverse volte e ogni volta è stata una conferma positiva.
