If you want to eat fresh fish and seafood, this is the place. First-class quality. At the counter, you choose your piece of fresh fish and seafood, and they prepare it for you. The speed is incredible; they have a legion of waiters constantly serving the tables. The crudo di mare is impressive; oysters, mussels, and other super-fresh bivalves, the kind that wriggle when you touch them with lemon. The appetizers, seven varied dishes of fish and seafood, are not to be missed. We ordered fried cuttlefish and squid for the main course, ordered by the kilo, delicious, super fresh, and without oil. It's a pleasure to eat there, but it's always packed. On weekends, it's best to book if you don't want to miss it.

Driving towards Matera after vacation in Puglia. The "Trattoria" location is expected to be a " tourist trap," BUT the food quality, quantity, and price were amazing! Will not regret eating there!

There would be so much to say here… but really, there is no point in wasting time chatting: you have to come and eat everything that Mr. Mario recommends.
An experience that goes beyond simple eating: authentic, generous, unforgettable. The best restaurant and, without a doubt, the best fish I have ever tried. Freshness, taste, passion – you can feel it in every dish.

Restaurant in a great location at the entrance to the old city of Taranto, the idea of combining the fish market with the restaurant is nice, the outdoor area has a view of the square and the clock tower, one of the symbols of Taranto. Excellent service, helpful staff, fast and efficient, cheap prices but the preparation of the dishes, both appetizers and first courses is not completely satisfactory, they are not very tasty and flavorful.

Antipasti buoni. Crudo buono. Appena seduti siamo stati travolti da un cameriere certamente accogliente ma troppo pressante che ci ha proposto/imposto due primi. Li ha presentati così velocemente che non abbiamo capito. Siamo riusciti a modificarne solo uno ordinando linguine alle vongole: cruda e in parte attaccate tra loro. Poi sono arrivati dei paccheri con delle cicale di mare al sugo non pulire e un vassoio di pesce indefinito con sugo. La qualità dei primi è da ritenersi scarsa.
Il prezzo degli antipasti del vino e del crudo nella norma, mentre dei primi, data anche la loro scarsa qualità, troppo alto.
Insomma, una trattoria senza infamia né lode.
