the pigeon was well cooked and so was the fish. food's good but nothing too remarkable. affordable tho!
love the fact they listed EVERY single allergen at the back of the menu with footnotes dictating which ones they contain beside every dish.
was expecting cruddy service after reading some 1-star reviews down this place. as a singaporean chinese, i was initially dissuaded to come to this place after reports of "racial discrimination", but the moment i entered the place i encountered NONE of this, very friendly to me in fact! some of yall really wna lie out here saying this place is "racist". im pretty sure yall are just sensitive abt the language barrier (which isnt that big of an issue. some duolingo lessons are good enough to get by. all you have to ask the people here is "aperto?" "grazie mille" "tavolo per due". please, when you visit a country the very least you can do is try to learn some basic language, or get a translation app.)
in summary: service was downright amazing and the place was nice to eat in. if you are looking to try pigeon meat, i highly recommend this place, but it may not be to your taste (as applicable to me, no reason).

No joke the sausage and mushroom pasta was the best we had on the whole trip- it was our first stop and could not be topped.

If you’re after an authentic Umbrian meal, you can’t go past this gem. The most incredible meal, service, both my husband and I gave it a 10/10. We tried the pork cheek, umbricelli, carpaccio, wild boar stew, and finished with the tiramisu. Each dish was a revelation - thank you for sharing such wonderful cooking with us.

It is a quiet and warm restaurant.
I had Carpaccio di manzo affumicato al tartufo as an antipasto, and it was not salty and very delicious.
It's fantastic when you add a little olive oil with the bread you provided!
For primo, I ordered carbonara di fave e baffo, and it was my first time eating it :)
I used fava bean puree instead of eggs, which is a common carbonara ingredient, and it is soft and savory. The soft skin of the beans lingers slightly in your mouth, but even that has a novel and pleasant taste.
It's a pasta dish that even Koreans like, but it's not like long spaghetti noodles. The short, plump noodles make it easy to eat with a fork.
I ordered dolce and panna cotta + caramel for dessert. I saw in a Korean review that the panna cotta was fantastic. Maybe I had too high expectations, but it didn't meet my expectations, but it wasn't too sweet and went well with the caramel sauce :) They say it's homemade!
Including all these courses, wine and zero cola, it came to 33€. It's also great in terms of price!

Ieri, 24 Giugno, sono stata con mio Marito in questo ristorante orvietano. Abbiamo deciso di recensirlo per un duplice motivo, da una parte la gentilezza del Personale, in particolare la Sig ra Rolanda che è la Titolare e per la qualità dei piatti degustati. Nonostante l affollamento di ospiti ci siamo comunque sentiti coccolati. Un grazie di cuore Serena e Massimo
