A cozy atmosphere, charming decor, a few small, more intimate tables behind the unused bar, separated from the general dining room, a well-chosen menu, and delicious foie gras and tartar! Take their advice, and if the weather is good, enjoy the terrace! …and enjoy your meal!

The owner and his staff welcome you to this delightful, well-maintained restaurant with a warm, homey feel. The menu is balanced in both quantity and theme. The wine list is excellent, and the owner, if I'm not mistaken, holds several awards as a sommelier. His sister is the chef and is celiac, so almost all the dishes are naturally gluten-free, and great attention is paid to celiacs in general. It's also a member of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association) network. The service was professional and friendly, with only a small flaw, undoubtedly due to the young age of one of the waiters... nothing experience can't fix. The prices are reasonable and commensurate with the quality of the service and offerings.

A restaurant like it used to be, with a view of the lake (a glimpse), a true experience.
The waiters are friendly and the hosts are very helpful, with truly extraordinary customer service.
Quick and courteous, they make you feel at home: I recommend the fillet steak with porcini mushrooms and the Fassona beef tartare.
The first courses are also noteworthy.
The terrace, with its custom-designed lighting, is charming in the summer.

I’ve been to Trattoria del Glicine a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service is always warm and attentive. This time, we sat on the patio, which was absolutely perfect on a hot summer’s day—shaded, peaceful, and with a lovely atmosphere. A wonderful spot in Como !
