Tried maybe 10 restaurants in Spoleto so far and this was my favorite. Even the very simplest courses I ordered were thoughtfully prepared.

A nice place in the center. Good appetizer, good first course and side dish. The dessert was good too. Friendly staff. Dalì you can start visiting the historic center.

Trattoria ferma nel tempo, ma non "abbandonata", anzi molto curata e pulita ma che già al primo sguardo ti fa pensare al cibo buono, quello sincero e genuino. Conduzione e servizio attento ed impeccabile. Con mia moglie e mio figlio abbiamo preso diversi piatti ma gli stringozzi (fatti a mano) ai funghi e tartufo, a 12 euro e la zuppa di fagioli, a 8 euro (fagioli di Castelluccio) meritano veramente una menzione d'onore! Prezzi bassi per la media di Spoleto se poi vengono paragonati all'ottimo cibo proposto, sono veramente bassissimi. Che altro dire, bravissimi!!!

A restaurant that has stood still in time, but not "abandoned", on the contrary very well-kept and clean but which at first glance makes you think of good food, sincere and genuine. Attentive and impeccable management and service. With my wife and son we had various dishes but the (handmade) stringozzi with mushrooms and truffles and the bean soup really deserve an honorable mention! Low prices for the Spoleto average if compared to the excellent food offered, they are truly very low. What else can I say, very good!!!

Very special place, very nice and concentrated, ground floor and I think also above, because there are stairs, very good appetizer with canapés, olive pâté, and tasting of bruschetta with Perugia oil.....extraordinary lentil soup , ditto meat, very tender, and obviously very sweet the dessert

Characteristic place, excellent food, precise and fast service, as a group of 56 people we were served almost simultaneously. We were welcomed kindly by the owner and all his staff. Highly recommended.

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante nel corso di un viaggio organizzato in Umbria. La Trattoria si trova in ottima posizione, a un passo dal centro storico, in un palazzo d’epoca.
Il menu, trattandosi appunto di un viaggio organizzato, era fisso e consisteva in: antipasto misto, due assaggi di primi, secondo con due contorni e dolce.
L’antipasto, a base di prodotti locali, è stato davvero gustoso, così come ottimo anche il brasato con le patate. I primi sono stati così così, mentre il dolce – una specie di budino – è risultato piuttosto anonimo.
Personale di sala gentile e disponibile.
Il locale, benché caratteristico, è piuttosto antiquato e, a mio avviso, avrebbe necessità di un restauro profondo; soprattutto le toilette risultano molto datate e poco funzionali.

I will tell my experience, including both the positive and less positive points.
Group of 7 people, we are greeted by the waiter, who is quick to illustrate some of the day's proposals, in a brilliant way. It's a shame that the request to see the menu was ignored several times, I don't know whether intentionally or not. By default, appetizers had been marked for everyone; It was not clear to us whether this was a mere marketing tactic or simply an oversight.
The appetizers included a crostini with mushrooms, oil, tomato and one with livers and various spices flavored with lemon. To follow, we had tagliatelle with red wine, strangozzi with truffle and reported an egg intolerance, then ordered a portion of spaghetti. The truffle pasta sauce really contained a lot of oil, almost a finger's worth of oil on the bottom of the plate. Furthermore, among the spaghetti there were pieces of tagliatelle and when this was pointed out to the waiter, he admitted that the cooking water for the pasta is the same. Luckily the group member didn't have an allergy!! A guinea fowl was then ordered as a second course, which was really tender and good.
There are positive things, I can't deny it, but I admit that as a group we were annoyed by these "oversights".
