An unassuming restaurant in a residential area. The food was excellent! Super delicious pasta, and the pasta menu (5 varieties of the house specialties) for €25 is highly recommended! The evening seating is really cozy in the garden/outdoor area of ​​the restaurant. We paid €56 for two.

I've always heard about it, I'd never been there. We ate well and a lot (5 first courses and a dessert, drinking bottles of wine together) and we spent, surprisingly, about forty euros. Really highly recommended

Excellent tasting of the first courses in 5 courses, the pasta is homemade and the sauces are tasty, rustic and homemade but not heavy. Attentive but friendly service, a slightly retro atmosphere, just a few tweaks to modernize... anyway I absolutely recommend it and I will return

Nice and harmonious environment, professional and cheerful staff. We ate risotto with radicchio and amarone and delicious tortellini with melted butter, ribs and fillet which you don't always find so good and cooked to perfection. Well done to everyone and congratulations!

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante sulla via del ritorno dalla settimana bianca. Personale gentilissimo e servizio curato, cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso pappardelle con ragù di faraona, tagliatelle ai porcini e tortelloni. Buonissimo anche il tortino alle mele. Consigliamo assolutamente!

20/07/2025: The pizza selection is large, and a variety of combinations are possible! Mostly used for takeout, with tables set up like a snack bar, but friendly service!
12/07/2025: Everything was really excellent! Excellent pizza, friendly service, smiles, and courtesy from everyone. Easy parking and fair prices, highly recommended!

25/06/2025: Wonderful food, and the service from our waitress Kowtad was the best we have had in Verona
23/06/2025: I was only in Verona for a week, visiting with a crew of somewhat high-maintenance travel companions (my mom and three of her friends)—but we were all able to agree on dinner at Osteria Scalin *twice* during our stay. The special menu items we tried were different and truly innovative, and all the food we had was delicious (shout out to the anchovy and burrata pizza). The staff was knowledgeable and everyone was very gracious about special requests and questions. I hope to return multiple times on a future trip to Verona!
