Trattoria da Sbrana In Massa marittima

Dopo un bel giro nei boschi, ci siamo fermati da Sbrana con i miei amici che gia' conoscevano il posto. Wow, che pranzo abbiamo fatto: la tartare con i funghi freschi, lumache, tagliere, pappardelle con cinghiale e una con i funghi, pici all'aglione tutto da 10. Servizio top e prezzo ottimo per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Da tornare sicuro quando in zona.

Traditional location. I think good management is familiar, friendliness is at home. Homemade wine well prepared and simple. The dishes are tasty. The price is related to the good traditional Tuscan cuisine and the quality.

Typical Tuscan restaurant a few steps from Massa Marittima (however, even if it is close, you have to get there by car without any parking problems). Typical dishes of the Maremma tradition, I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragout. The pasta was rough and thick like the one made at home in the old days. The mixed starter with cured meats, cheeses and croutons is also excellent. Also to be appreciated is a more than decent selection of wines. We opted for an excellent Sangiovese della Maremma. All in all, fast service considering the large influx of people. Prices (perhaps) slightly skewed upwards but it's like this everywhere now.
