HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... Very spartan on the outside, very welcoming inside, fantastic staff, and a very kind owner. The food? Excellent, excellent pappardelle with wild boar, amazing mushroom gnocchi, delicious meat. We'll definitely be back, especially since they handle breakfasts for Bike Hotel Sleep and Ride.

Excellent trattoria, very kind, wide choice and typical menu, excellent wild boar, tortelli, crostini ... in short everything, good house wine and reasonable prices, we will definitely be back, dogs are welcome which doesn't hurt!

Remember, this is a classic trattoria with no exceptional chef, nothing to envy modern chefs. True home cooking; the food was not only delicious, but also fragrant. The homemade cakes were excellent. Excellent value for money.

Sbrana is a guarantee! Typical Maremma food, homemade and well-cooked. From simple crostini to snails to Florentine steak. We ate well and will return. Fabio, the manager, takes care of his customers, and the girls in the dining room provide good service. A rustic, unpretentious trattoria that leaves both the palate and the wallet satisfied.

15/01/2026: Excellent cuisine! The staff is professional, accommodating, and friendly, even with the little ones. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, cooked with imagination and flavor. The portions are generous, with a first course and a second course, plus a side dish. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the dishes. There are only a few seats, but there's no disturbance between tables. Excellent!
28/10/2025: A typical and welcoming place, small and private yet very intimate and homely. The cuisine is attentive and very pleasant, the service is excellent, the fish is excellent, and the tuna in tuna sauce is a true delight. Everything is run entirely by women. Well done! Congratulations, keep it up!

Ristorante Le Macinaie - Monte Amiata

15/03/2026: If you're interested in trekking or snow activities, this is the perfect place, located on Mount Amiata. We just stayed there as a couple for a weekend with Smartbox. It's 40-50 minutes from Val d'Orcia, so it's also convenient for exploring the area. The staff was very friendly. We couldn't book the hot tub, but they offered us two complimentary bottles of their own wine. The rooms are cozy and clean. I recommend it!
24/02/2026: A relaxing weekend booked with Smartbox. We had a super panoramic room, a 5-star aperitif, but above all, we were guests at the restaurant.... That was an unforgettable experience. The staff is priceless in kindness and professionalism. The common areas are very welcoming, and the location is fabulous. At night, there's heavenly silence, and during the day, breathtaking scenery. I'll focus again on the restaurant because, in addition to being reasonably priced, it has an exceptional wine cellar and an unparalleled chef. The portions are very generous, and believe me, it's worth trying the entire menu.
