The prices are appreciated, reasonable for a restaurant in Venice, in this case on the island of Burano. Lasagna costs around €15, but don't expect to be stuffed. Venice isn't known for its hearty pasta dishes. The service was exquisite, and we were given several recommendations, most of them fresh fish dishes.

I’m from NYC and I highly recommend this for lunch. This is the best restaurant in all of Venice and I ate at a Michelin-star last night. I’ve been in Venice for 3 days and it’s honestly unbelievable how bad the food is here. I expected Burano to be even worse but I was pleasantly surprised. I stopped by and the daughter of the owners greeted me kindly and explained how each dish is homemade. The spaghetti bolognese and the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili were very good. The crab was also very good.

I ordered vongole pasta, water, a glass of white wine, and tiramisu cake and it came to 42 euros. I was worried that the pasta would be just clam shells, but there were a lot of clams and it was delicious! The reviews were extremely mixed, with some good and some bad, but the female waitress who took my order was very kind and nice. When I finished eating and ordered tiramisu, it was already sold out, but she made a new one for me. However, what was a little inconvenient was that I felt like she kept pressuring me to order more. Even though I didn't need it, she kept recommending it, saying, "Do you not need this?"

Dopo aver girata tutta Burano, per le 13.30 abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare in questo locale. Locale molto carino, semplice di per sé, ma i piccoli dettagli dell'arredamento e nella mise en place fanno la differenza, rendendo tutto più accogliente e romantico. Trattoria a conduzione familiare, accoglienza eccezionale dall'inizio del pranzo fino alla fine. Personale quindi gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale. Menu vario, per dare più scelta, sia ai turisti che le persone del posto. Si passa dal pesce di laguna freschissimo, cucinato veramente bene, alla carbonara o alla caprese servita con stile. Ovviamente essendo in un posto turistico bisogna accontentare tutte le persone ma non per questo è tutto dato per scontato, anche nell'impiattamento, che vuole il suo occhio. La materia prima ottima. Fegato alla veneziana buonissimo, soddisfatta. Anche le cozze veramente buone e fresche, come le vongole. Penso che i dolci siano buoni, anche se non l'abbiamo preso, vedevo che erano invitanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo corretto, avendo mangiato la tradizione e il pesce. Ovviamente bisogna ricordarsi dove ci si trova.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo locale a conduzione familiare dove la gentilezza e l'accoglienza e la qualita della materia prima sono all'ordine del giorno. I piatti da noi scelti sono stati accompagnati dalla storia di ognuno di essi, a iniziare dall'antipasto per finire con il dolce. Abbiamo gustato l'antipasto di pesce bollito della casa, le moeche, superbe, il risotto di "go" tipico del posto e i buranei con il mascarpone...ed essendo io intollerante al lattosio ho mangiato dei biscotti farciti senza lattosio. Una bella scoperta e davvero consigliatissimo per chi ama la buona cucina. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.
