Service and food where outstanding, the home made pasta and fried fish 🐟where so tasty and fresh the best fish we have had in Venice. Prices are a little more than others but the quality and service is excellent. Staff super friendly and welcoming right from the start explaining their history and methods, a lovely experience.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. It actually turned out to be much nicer inside than it looked from the outside. We ordered two pasta dishes - both were perfectly cooked and served quite quickly.
All the staff were very friendly, and it was clear that the team works together like a well-coordinated machine. We especially loved the dessert - the local Burano cookie with cream was absolutely delightful.
I highly recommend this place!

Trattoria Da Primo has a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The staff is attentive and the food is served quickly, which makes the dining experience comfortable. However, the food itself was disappointing. The soup was bland and lacked flavor, and the seafood was not tasty either. Overall, great service and ambiance, but the quality of the dishes could be improved.

We went in because it had good reviews.
The service was very good, super friendly.
But we fell into the "tourist" trap. We ordered pasta, and they offered us an off-menu starter. We asked how big the dish was, so we wouldn't get too full, and they said it was fine for sharing. They then drizzled us some oils to taste. The dish was small, even smaller than a snack.
Then the pasta took ages, and it was dry. I had to add oil to my spaghetti.
The shock came when the bill arrived... The off-menu dish was €30, which wasn't worth it.
We paid more for that than for the food. That said, the service was excellent. But I can't say the same about our food. A real shame.

We went to this restaurant yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday. We finally got to try Gó's risotto, which is practically impossible to find anywhere else, and it was delicious, something we'll never forget. For our second course, we shared a mixed fried fish platter, which was also delicious. They were incredibly sweet because, unbeknownst to us, they recreated a little cake with cream and put a little candle in it for my boyfriend to blow out because they'd heard at the door that it was his birthday!
It's not among the cheapest restaurants, but it's definitely high-quality, and we highly recommend it!
