Trattoria da Primo – a truly wonderful experience.
The team warmly welcomed us and shared the history of their family-run restaurant, which made the visit feel incredibly special and personal. For the first time, I learned about a traditional Venetian aperitif made with peach and Prosecco—such a delightful discovery.
The pasta was exceptional, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly, and authentic, making us feel right at home.
If you want to have a fantastic time and experience genuine Venetian hospitality, this is absolutely the place to visit again and again.

I honestly don't understand why this restaurant only has 4.2. My husband and I are quite demanding and we were thrilled with the restaurant, the food and the atmosphere. Professional and very friendly staff, the food was great, we were very surprised. And lest I forget, when we were looking at the menu in front of the restaurant, a young lady came and just said that her mother cooks in the kitchen, everything is homemade and it's no problem to cook anything and if we want, we are always welcome (and I note that they were closing soon). We certainly weren't the last time here - thank you! Oh and risotto for one person too? I love it! 😍

It's a tourist spot, so it's a bit pricey, but the food is average Italian, so it's not much different. The service was good and friendly. The portions were average. Everyone orders pasta and fries. If you eat outside, the view is beautiful and colorful.

Behind the scenes, the father personally selects the fish, guaranteeing absolute freshness, while the mother commands the kitchen with the wisdom of someone who cooks with soul and tradition.
The result is honest, delicate, and memorable cuisine—the kind that stays in your memory long after the trip is over.
Burano already has my heart, and a large part of that is due to this table, these people, and this story.

The restaurant I was planning to go to was closed, so I went in anyway, even though it was raining and off-season. This was the most delicious and enjoyable meal I had on this trip. I also ordered a glass of wine, and the owner let me taste it and recommended what I drank. It was perfect for my taste, even though I'm not a wine connoisseur. The squid ink pasta, assorted seafood tempura, and tiramisu were all delicious. I highly recommend it.👍

We ordered risotto. The only catch is that they only make it if you order two identical risottos. But it's delicious. Another detail: the menu is in several languages. I recommend it!

It's a family-run restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff. And the best part was the food—the risotto was spectacular and the baked fish of the day was delicious. We would go back a thousand times.

Food was great, presentation was great. Staff was friendly. Didn't appreciate being charged for the additional breadsticks they gave us. But watevs, overall great dining experience.

Our tour included a stop in Burano. We chose the restaurant at random, and it turned out to be a lucky find. The spaghetti carbonara was excellent, and the portion was a good size. We hadn't originally wanted dessert, but the waiter managed to persuade us to try a homemade dessert. It was a mascarpone cream with four biscotti. Seriously, it was the best dessert we'd had in Venice so far.
