Maybe something went wrong, but my experience wasn't positive. All the first courses had a spicy flavor, even the simple pasta with clams—strange. It wasn't possible to remove the spicy element from the dish, and my wife chose pasta with tuna. I would have expected fresh tuna in Catania, especially in a trattoria.

An experience to remember, delicious dishes, spectacular pasta alla carrettiera, rare horse meatballs, delicious, my wife had a spectacular pasta alla norma, delicious, the appetizers were delicious, I will go to this restaurant several times.

Typical Sicilian cuisine. Pasta alla Norma and spaghetti alla Carrettiera are truly delicious, as are the slices of Levillo Alto horse meat. The atmosphere is rustic and informal. Quality cuisine, with a few lapses in service, but that doesn't matter. Reservations are always recommended. Highly recommended.

They open at 7 p.m. They confidently tell you to wait even if you arrive a minute early. The old man is so kind. I had a feeling this place was coming, so I waited 30 minutes while eating a panini at the next store to get here. I ordered three dishes, and even though I'm only eating one, I'm so impressed. It's so delicious. I can't wait to try the next one. I've been in Malta for a month and have eaten so many delicious things, but today was truly the best.

We are very lucky that we found this restaurant. It is a family run restaurant and it seems many locals dine there. It is just 10 mins walk from the city centre.
The fish dishes are so fresh and tasty, not to mention the reasonable price (can’t believe 28 mussels for just €8)!
The pasta is also very delicious. We had a great time there for lunch and dinner during our last day in Catania.
The last but not least, it is a very honest restaurant. It states clearly which fish out of all dishes are frozen fish. How many restaurants do this to be honest?
