Not the same old nennella. Simple but good dishes, but it really feels like a money-making machine; you don't even have time to sit down before they're already making you order. Plus, the show portion is really short, and if you're unlucky enough to have a table downstairs, you have to queue up on the stairs to see anything.

A traditional restaurant, it doesn't take reservations, but you have to wait in line. This is certainly a strategy that has made it a popular spot among tourists and locals alike. The atmosphere is canteen-like. As soon as you sit down, they immediately ask you what you're eating and serve you just as quickly. After eating, they make you get up, play some music, and then you're off to the next shift.
The pasta with potatoes and provola is worth trying at least once; otherwise, I didn't like the overall format.

Is it worth it for the show? Absolutely.
As for the food, it's like going to a friend's house who cooks well. Home-cooked meals at a fair price. Well done!

Trattoria Nennella offers a traditional and informal experience, far from gourmet: simple, delicious, and reasonably priced dishes, with a fixed menu and essential service.
The service is very quick thanks to the fixed menu, which allows for advance preparation. The atmosphere is chaotic: soon after, everyone starts singing and dancing, almost like a dance hall.
A downside is the long line (minimum 45 minutes) compared to a short stay of about an hour (first sitting).
Recommended for groups of friends looking to have fun and spend an evening at a venue that has become an iconic spot in Naples thanks to word of mouth, but especially social media!
However, it's best to go in the late evening, when you can relax.

A favorite place of Neapolitans.
The entrance is also interesting because of its popularity. When we arrived, they wrote down our names and when the previous guest finished and let them go, we, the waiting list, were allowed to enter at the same time. After dinner, the waiters dance on the table, ensuring the atmosphere.
