Personale gentile, cucina buona. Non sempre hanno tutte le pietanza del menu, ma a difesa della qualità degli ingredienti. Molto buone le casarecce alla lido: consiglio. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

I went because a friend recommended it and I was amazed. The place is small but very familiar and welcoming. The food is excellent: I think I can say I ate the best octopus salad of my life (and I am Sicilian) and an excellent fried fish. True, they are simple things, but here I found them cooked with true mastery and with so much flavor and a riot of smells of our land. The service was welcoming and familiar. I will certainly return to enjoy all the beauty of Palermo in this pleasant restaurant in its historic center.

Prenotato senza monte aspettative con lo sconto the fork per un pranzo in centro dato che il locale si trova in pieno centro storico. Abbiamo preso antipasto e primo a base di pesce: buone le sarde fritte con l'aceto ed il calamaro arrosto soprattutto, buona la pasta con le vongole con aggiunta di uova di pesce spada e la pasta con il nero di seppia e ricci anche se qualche riccio in più non avrebbe stonato. Servizio attento e gentile, conto giusto, sconto the fork correttamente applicato. Ci torneremo.

07/06/2025: We had a pleasant time at this authentic, local restaurant. Very affordable prices, excellent pasta and pizza. Very friendly staff. It's a nice change from the "tourist traps" that are rated above 4.5 stars.
01/06/2025: Why eat where all the tourists are? Go 400m further and there is a restaurant away from the crowds, where you will find very affordable prices and good products, typical cuisine.
