We had a reservation for lunch and had no expectations. This one was probably the loveliest meal we had in Florence during ihr stay. The service was great, the wine was tasty, the tiramisu was the best we had during our trip. I would wholeheartedly recommend trattoria Giovanni!

nice mood but our premium florentine steak came out cold and our waiter was completely unapologetic and not even trying to solve it quick. Service was worst we had in Florence

Wonderful dining experience. Walked in early as we hadn’t booked. Lucky to get a table. Attentive staff, fabulous wine and amazing food. Definitely recommend as a prime place to eat.

One of the best restaurants in Florence! From the moment you enter, you feel a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional – they really try to make you feel special. The food is top-notch, real Tuscan, the pasta is excellent – ​​delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Try the pasta with veal cheeks! The ambiance is cozy and homey, which makes it ideal for both special occasions and a casual dinner. All in all, an experience worth a clean A! I will definitely be back again and highly recommend it to everyone – this is a place not to be missed!

09/10/2025: We spent the night in the RV parking lot. The restaurant was actually closed, but they still served us a very good and generous meal. Highly recommended, thank you very much.
30/09/2025: A wonderful and atmospheric place. We were the only ones in the restaurant (end of September), but the food was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful, taking great care of us. We felt like we were at a family-run place. 💛
