Trattoria Da Giovanni Di Santangelo Massimo In Castelvetrano

Abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria in modo squisito sia per la qualità del cibo che per la garbata cortesia del ristoratore. Abbiamo scelto pasta con le sarde delicata ma con gusto e pasta con melanzane fritte e salsa di pomodoro fresco a dir poco superlativo. Calamaro e pesce spada arrosto cotti benissimo e con contorno di insalata alla siciliana. Ci hanno coccolato con un entre' composto da bruschetta con pomodoro,formaggio e olive e per finire ravioli dolci alla ricotta. Il vino di Castelvetrano è qualcosa di favoloso. Grazie per averci donato emozioni indimenticabili. Ah dimenticavo prezzo più che onesto!

Servers were attentive and friendly. Restaurant was really warm ( late July). Pasta was good (gnocchi, truffle spaghetti, etc). Though the boar papardelle was nothing special. Tagliata was not special. Roasted potatoes we had on the side were dry and not nice. I was served a glass of wine from a bottle that had clearly been open for a couple days. I sent it back, he opened a fresh bottle.

A recommended restaurant in Florence. Dal Osten and other famous restaurants were so crowded and hectic that the waiters were sometimes unfriendly, but here the food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the waiters were friendly and not burdensome. The aperitif bread must be eaten with olive oil and balsamic, and I highly recommend Prosecco sparkling wine. I came here twice in 4 days and I recommend the ravioli!! The tomato sauce is delicious. The prosciutto and melon are definitely better than the ones I had in Korea. Even if you order and share several dishes with your group, be sure to order the tomato sauce menu!! + I spilled my wine and I am really grateful to the waiter Zain who gave me a new glass for free :) I will visit again when I come to Italy again~~

Typical trattoria but with outstanding service and food. Place to go in Florence. 10/10 recommend. Had a great time there and left the restaurant more than full

Came here for dinner. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The portion size was very good. We stayed quite awhile. And after we finished our dinner we wanted to order seconds, because the food was soo good. The kitchen was closed but they reopened it for us. It was such a great gesture. It was an awesome experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to all the staff. What a wonderful experience.

The food was amazing and prices very reasonable. Everything our group order was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is nice, not too casual but not too formal. Service was super friendly and efficient. 10s across the board.

Praticamente perfetta. Trattoria con la T maiuscola come poche ancora in giro per l’Italia. Qui si ha la possibilità di provare ancora i sapori genuini. Piatti sempre diversi, in base ai prodotti disponibili nel periodo e qualità sempre alta. I prezzi poi, davvero molto molto modici. Ogni volta che sono in zona per lavoro è tappa fissa.

Lovely restaurant. Delicious dishes and excellent service. The spaces are a bit small and, especially in the evening, the restaurant is very popular (it is absolutely advisable to book a table). Absolutely satisfied! P.s. the gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts are phenomenal!

Went there for dinner with friends and ordered truffle pasta and pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale. Overall, the price was reasonable for the portion and taste. While it wasn't the best pasta I've had in Florence, it was a pleasant experience. But it you are craving truffle pasta and on a budget I would recommend it
