Very good place for dinner. This place came recommended and met every expectation. The steak was very flavorful and cooked to perfection!! Pasta was delicious! Would absolutely recommend for a cozy, authentic meal!

Came across this place unexpectedly while looking for dinner. They were packed but snuck me in! Excellent food, great atmosphere and my waiter Titu had perfect recommendations for my main course and wine. Will be back.

A typical Florentine restaurant where the food is truly delicious. We tried the ribollita and pappa al pomodoro: both excellent, with authentic, traditional flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service friendly. Recommended 🍷

My family have been coming here for years. What you get: a warm welcome, homely freshly cooked food from the freshest ingredients and great value. Do try the amber wine. Cannot understand the reviews that say the place is expensive, certainly if you have the antipasti, pasta, fish or meat main course (served with a salad), fruit and cassatedra (ricotta filled pastries) with wine, it’s brilliant value. Our holidays in Sicily would not be the same without a visit (or two) to Giavanni’s.

24/11/2025: Excellent cuisine in a special setting. Don't hesitate to step inside for a wonderful culinary experience. Reservations are recommended!
23/11/2025: Everything was perfect, from the appetizers (the octopus with potatoes was top notch), to the first courses, and I'd say the quality/price ratio was amazing. Prices have skyrocketed in Marsala these days, but here I'd say families can afford fair prices for every culinary desire. There were four of us. The staff was exceptionally friendly, classy, ​​and professional. The owner was always there. I highly recommend it. I always love coming back.

12/01/2026: We came to the restaurant and there were six of us. The food was delicious, and so was the meat, except for the steak, which was dry. But the rest was excellent. The gnocchi with cream and pancetta and the tagliatelle in carro were excellent. Highly recommended.
