Trattoria Da Giovanni Di Santangelo Massimo In Castelvetrano

Me and my husband stumbled across this restaurant, and it definitely did not disappoint the food was delicious and the service was impecable, we ordered truffle pasta, the steak, and the chocolate cake was to die for! The supervisor and waiter was very attentive and created a positive experience, thank you Nichola and Darko for the extraordinary service !

This is the place if you want a cosy and authentic Tuscan experience in Florence! Incredibly warm and friendly service, definitely one of the better Florentine steaks on our trip (shared between the four of us) and we ending it with a sweet tiramisu. Will definitely come back next time!

Great steak, but my favourites were the garlicky sides. Service was attentive but not overly so and they gave us a couple of desserts on the house!

Trattoria Giovanni was wonderful! I got a seat right away with no reservation and had their gnocchi. Their service was quick as well - my food came out in no time. The place is very clean with nice music. My server’s name was Othmane, and he was great. Highly recommend:)

Se siete a Castelvetrano e cercate un posto autentico, Trattoria da Giovanni è una tappa imperdibile. Non esiste un menù fisso: ogni giorno vi proporranno piatti diversi in base alla disponibilità e alla freschezza dei prodotti – e la scelta è sorprendentemente ampia. La trattoria ha un accogliente stile rustico, che ricorda l’atmosfera calda e familiare della casa della nonna. Appena arrivati, ci hanno accolti con vino della casa e bruschette al pomodoro come antipasto. I primi piatti erano non solo deliziosi, ma anche molto abbondanti, così come il secondo e il contorno di insalata verde. A fine pasto, ci hanno offerto anche il dolce. Tutto era fresco, genuino e cucinato con amore. Lo staff è stato estremamente cordiale e attento alle nostre esigenze. Un’esperienza che scalda il cuore e sa di casa. Consigliatissima!

Siamo arrivati a Castelvetrano affamati, senza sapere dove parcheggiare, cosa visitare e soprattutto dove andare a mangiare! Ci siamo imbattuti per caso nella Trattoria da Giovanni che è stata una vera e piacevole sorpresa. I piatti sono buoni, vari, accompagnati dalla simpatia di Massimo! In questo locale si respira la vera atmosfera siciliana. Consiglio a tutti il dolce della casa, una prelibatezza! Peccato solo che la chiesa di San Domenico, che ci era stata consigliata da visitare, fosse chiusa…
