Cena di pesce con luci e ombre: zuppa di pesce sullo scarso e poco caratterizzata nei sapori, grigliata di pesce misto fatta alla piastra e non alla griglia, fritto misto abbondante e ben fatto, conto non in linea con l'offerta.

Da Gino” e’ una metà abbastanza frequente quando andiamo a Trieste pranzo o cena, estate o inverno abbiamo sempre mangiato bene se il frigo del pesce è vuoto vuol dire che non c’è pesce fresco. E’ un locale storico e “ antico” vedi arredamento un po’ datato ma chi vuole mangiare bene non bada al resto. Personale gentile. Torniamo sempre volentieri.

Historic venue on the Triestina coast, it always confirms itself at the highest levels. The menu is simple and home-made, the raw materials are of excellent quality and each dish is tasty and prepared. The fish first courses and the fried calamari, plentiful and crunchy, are unmissable. Delicious home made bread. The rooms are large and welcoming, with In good weather we sit in the garden. The staff is kind and smiling and the atmosphere is far from the hysteria that can be felt elsewhere. Well done everyone, recommended stop!!

Stopped in spontaneously after a hike and were served immediately. There was home-baked bread for the waiting time and it was served with a trolley. The children and we enjoyed it! Sea bream, sea bass, squid and Trieste goulash - all dishes recommended.

01/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto soprattutto perché avevamo fretta, eravamo in tanti e la sua posizione, a Trieste sul Canal Grande, lo rende facilmente individuabile. Il locale non mi ha particolarmente impressionato. Moderno e pulito, assai spazioso, ma di posti del genere ne ho visti mille altri. Senza infamia ne lode, come primo impatto, direi. Ho trovato poco cortesi i camerieri, che parevano quasi seccati dal dovere seguire un gruppo ampio come il nostro. Devo, tuttavia, riconoscere che i panini erano buoni e che i prezzi li ho trovati molto competitivi. Anche chi ha preso piatti normali è restato soddisfatto.
29/01/2025: Probably the best I've been with in a long time! First we come in and the kitchen was closed anyway we got food as we were very hungry, then the drinks came and we thought the blueberries were good in one of the drinks so the waiter brought a small plate of blueberries. 😭❤️
