We had lunch at this trattoria a little out of town. The four of us had a great time. The professional staff recommended some of the day's specials. We thoroughly enjoyed everything: a good platter of cured meats and cheeses with sauces and honey, a plate of delicious fried artichokes, three wild boar slices with polenta, a semolina dessert, and two coffees. We spent €96. It seemed reasonable and good value, and the service was also good. The place was nice, clean, and tidy, with a covered veranda.

Four friends for a weekend in Montecatini. We had lunch twice at Trattoria da Gina. We recommend everything from the crostini to the pasta dishes, not to mention the ribs and fried artichokes. Everything was delicious. The waiters were helpful and friendly. Good prices!

After searching Google for a trattoria in Montecatini Terme, TRATTORIA da GINA popped up among the various options. We tried it and... Excellent place. The location made me feel at home. Warm and familiar. The food was excellent. I recommend the bone-in rib eye steak and roast potatoes. The meat was flavorful and delicately cut, and the potatoes were perfect. I usually find them dry and over-oily. The waiters were attentive and kind. The bill was super fair. I recommend TRATTORIA da GINA to everyone.

If you want a steak that is fantastic that doesn't break the bank, come here. Food quality is on par with at least a 4 star restaurant if not 5 star. Was introduced to a couple of new ideas. So far the best food experience I've had in Italy. VERY WELL worth the visit. Staff is very friendly and speak very fluent english which makes for an easy interaction and ordering experience. The roast beef is out of this world also.

14/03/2026: In a culinary world now extolled only by words like "gourmet" and "contemporary," the soul and roots of real places where you can eat good food and spend a pleasant evening have been completely lost. You'll still find all of this here, no frills, but a hospitality that is now rare. Without taking anything away from the food, everything is fantastic, with that extra touch of class from the wood-fired oven! The Pollo al mattone is a must-try (I'd also say the Pasta alla Carrettiera, simple yet special). Highly recommended!

02/11/2025: It's not your typical pizza; there's so much quality, attention, research, and passion behind every bite. Crunch is something different, unique, and delicious. The quality is high and obviously comes at a cost, but certain taste experiences are worth trying. It's no coincidence that it's climbing the Italian rankings. A small place, but with attention to every detail. Anyone looking for something different is in the right place. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it. You eat with your mouth, with your eyes, and you'll always say WOW.
26/10/2025: Very nice place. Nice, friendly, kind staff. The pizzas are fantastic. The pasta and the quality ingredients. The tomato sauce is like my mom's when I was a child. Thank you very much for the experience.
