My mom and I had a wonderful meal at this charming restaurant in a quieter part of Venice only a 5-minute walk from our hotel. We shared fish soup, octopus salad, and pasta carbonara. The flavors were to be savored! The service was excellent, too, and, coming from NY state, the prices were very reasonable. It was a great culinary experience!

An unforgettable dining experience in Venice! Trattoria da Gianni was one of the best places we ate in Venice. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and clearly prepared with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving you a true Italian trattoria experience away from the tourist crowds. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine, generous portions, and an authentic Venetian experience, Trattoria da Gianni is a must-visit. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again!

11/01/2026: Craving a coffee, I walked in and... I was blown away. I'd call it a cicchetteria, with a wide selection and a selection of captivating wines, including the sparkling Rabosello. I'll be back much more slowly...
30/12/2025: A group of 15 had a typical Venetian seafood dinner, everything delicious and fresh. The octopus and cuttlefish melted in the mouth. A stop at this lovely restaurant in Mira is highly recommended. I forgot to mention the great helpfulness and kindness of the entire staff. A more than fair price.
